Order appeared 4 days later?

I just saw a "new" order that I'm quite sure never appeared in my orders list until today but it appears as having been placed on June 8th, I've never seen this happen before.

Why would an order appear on June 12th with a date of June 8th?

It looks like you're in Canada.  At the current exchange rate, USJune8 is equal to CANJune12.

Just to make sure, what was the Paid On Date?  Buyers have up to 4 days to pay, and it won't show as Awaiting Shipment (that's all I usually check) until it's paid.

If it was a BIN, maybe the buyer didn't have a payment method loaded to the site.  Once they did, the order went through, dated from the time they hit the button instead of the date they actually paid.  I just hope (forlornly) that eBay started its ship-by clock from the payment time instead of the order time, otherwise you'll be penalized for being late to ship an order you never even saw.

I just figured out what had happened as it happened again.

The buyer had requested to cancel the order and eBay makes it really hard to notice because not only isn't there a bell notification at the top for order cancellation requests like for every other event on eBay, but they just make the order disappear from your order list.

You need to manually go look in your messages which I honestly don't do often as I get a notification on the bell on top whenever I get a message - except if it's an order cancellation message.

Is there a way to make order cancellation requests more obvious or would eBay have to make an update on their side?

I really don't like how order cancellation requests don't show up at all other than in messages and don't trigger a message notification.
