hey so I opened a case because I wanted to see if my buyer is a scammer. The item has been shipped and it shows the funds pending. I know new users have to wait 21 days for funds to be recieved unless you show tracking info and stuff which i did. With the case i opened it increased the days untill i recieve the funds. I want to know if i close the case will it change the amount of days because i know if i close the case i wont be able to open it again IF the buyer is a scammer.

Are you saying there is absolutely nothing about this transaction showing in paypal? Why then did you think it was pending?
Sorry, very confused right now.

Sale ended on the 25th. Not sure if it is possible.
When was it shipped and does tracking show delivered.

That is not how an unpaid item dispute work. When you file the unpaid item dispute it gives our buyer a chance to pay however if they do not pay that's completely up to them and they can take a strike on their account for it. Never ship unless you have confirmed in PayPal that you have been paid

A pending payment is not payment. Why would you ship and less the payment had showed as going to your PayPal account and being pending with a 21-day hold?

Oh, boy -- that is a common scam played out on newbie sellers. I am so sorry you got hoodwinked. Don't ever ship until you log into paypal and see the transaction. It will still show up on paypal even if it is pending due to being a new seller.
I am sorry to say you probably won't be getting this money from the scammer/buyer. You've learned something new today -- paypal before shipping.
EDIT: Read your response again. I see now you weren't scammed. You just sent without payment whatsoever. Too bad your buyer isn't more honest and sending the money he owes you.

Oh sorry i guess my 1st post was messy. I am a new seller and the hourglass shows on the sold list. i opened 'didn't receive payment'
Uh-oh..... you have sent a complete stranger your item before they paid, before their payment cleared, before it was securely in your account's possession. That's usually considered a gift.
Opening a case to get paid or request a return of merchandise after you've already sent it off doesn't result in either of these two preferred options happening. I think you're going to find you're out of luck, out your merchandise item, and with an empty wallet.
You can send an invoice for payment, but the buyer can simply ignore it, and probably will. Once in awhile we hear of a buyer who has such honor that they make their payment after the fact, but that is rare. Ebay likes to think and tell us that most people are honest. But when it comes to really putting that to the test.... most aren't!

And ONLY to the address shown in paypal with a eligible for seller protection . Check requirments for seller protection ( by clicking on the link) and follow them word for word. Always have tracking that YOU purchased with your shipping. Always make sure your tracking is uploaded in Paypal and Ebay.

This is a common ploy that eBay needs to fix. A seller should not be able to print a shipping label until it is paid. A big warning should come up that the payment is pending.
The scammer knows you are not experienced and when you see the pending you think it is pending because you are a new seller. They prey on the excitement of having a sale and trying to make a happy customer.
