ANOTHER BINGO!!!! FORCEFUL ACT TO PAY SAME AMOUNT OF MONEY ON VARIATION FOR DIFFERENT SIZES AND WEIGHT OF PRODUCT.
people create separate listings and selecting shipping services accordingly, but its give more exposure to buyer when its come to variation listing specially same kind of product with different sizes.
i have multiple variation listings, in variation, same kind of products has different size and weights, but there is also option to enable two shipping services at a time on variation listing which is actually not showing or working on listing.on listing its shows only one kind of shipping service no matter if you enable two or three kind of shipping services, what if one product weight is less then 1 lb and that should be shipped actually by first class in variation but there is no option to apply first class based on weight of product in same variation listing,BINGO!!!!!
Some of variation has less then 1 lb and some of are more than 1lb there must be an option to apply shipping services based on weight of product in same variation. is this a bug on ebay ?????
variation listing gives more exposure to buyer to select different size of product from one listing but other side its screw the seller to ship the item based on one shipping service showing on their listing, though there is option to enable two shipping services at a time on listing to show that either way can be shipped but its not working!!!!!!!
doing single listing for same kind of product for different sizes is not solution, its is less exposure for buyer to reach different sizes of product.
Does any body knows what is solution of this problem when you want to sell same kind of product with different sizes and weights in same variation but with different shipping service depend on selection of product from drop down menu??????

It is not unusual for larger items to cost more, but the shipping doesn't change. You can see this all the time on internet sites.
Just out of curiosity, do you use MV listings yourself? Because there is NO WAY to list different shipping service/weight for each variation.
The shipping is all controlled from the main page (just like a normal listing page).
Most likely ebay would advise not to sell different sizes in one MV listing.

Mam said the shipping stays the same and the item price changes for larger sizes? She said exactly the same thing you did in different words.

I use them all the time. I don't however have any that would fall into the problem that some are describing on this thread. However I never said that there was a way to list different weights. I think you misunderstood something I said.
I have no problem understanding why this is a problem for some that use separately stated shipping. For some they can increase the pricing of the larger items and that will cover the additional cost of shipping, but I know that isn't a solution for everyone.

as per ebay policy, if any seller define any kind of shipment service he is obliged to ship with same kind of shipment, recently i had one buyer who argue with me why i shipped the item with first class instead of priority mail on variation listing i explained him about the weight issue, but he was not co-operative and as result i cancelled the label and shipped via priority mail for item which is less then 1lb , ebay has no criteria so far to fix this issue.
That's correct. You can use the same service in the listing or you can upgrade- but you cannot downgrade.
It's OK to list first class then ship priority- but you cannot list priority then ship first class.
