It is not new that eBay decides in favor of the buyer to the detriment of the seller.
I sent an item to the buyer, he complained about its condition and I accepted that he send the item back.
Before he even returned the item he opened a case and guess what?
eBay refunded him in full before he even returned the item.
For someone like me who has been paying commissions to this site for over 20 years, I have the feeling that those responsible for this site think I should work for free, but that won't stay that way, because from now on I'll look for other options to sell and not have to pay commissions to those who don't even bother to help solve any problem that arises.

And no shipment arrives in Brazil in any number of days if you don't accept the return through the buyer's claim and issue them a return shipping label - especially to Brazil.

Take a good look:
He informed me that the item was defective, in this case a used album & vinyl from 1993.
I told him I could return it, he opened a complaint and I agreed to return the item.
However, the description of the ad itself stated that the cost of shipping the return is the responsibility of the BUYER.
He didn't respond anymore and opened a case a few days ago, I informed him that he hadn't sent the item back, they still refunded him.

How does it work then?
Anyone say they don't agree with the condition & condition of the item and do I have to pay return shipping?

No shipment arrives here within 3 days.
You have to respond to the Return claim within 3 days, or eBay will automatically refund. If you'd have approved it, you'd not have had to refund until the item was returned to you in Brazil.

Our!
My loss was $100 on a used vinyl.
Your case was much worse, so what I feared for a long time is already happening here, whoever supports them no longer has an active voice, if everyone leaves and sells on other platforms like Instagram, they will receive their fees from these dishonest scammers .

^^^ Yes, if a 'Not as Described' reason was listed in the Return claim.
Oh, to answer your first question... it "works" in the buyer's favor... eBay is very buyer-centric.

So the seller is at the mercy of anyone's opinion.
So even if the person regrets the purchase, the seller has to pay the cost of shipping & return.
So even when the buyer doesn't ship the item they refund you anyway.
Congratulations, do you sell here, buy here or are you an employee of the house?

Yes, if the buyer files an INAD (even if they lie), seller has to pay return shipping.
When the buyer opened the case, you had three days to accept the return and pay return shipping.
When you didn't, the buyer ask Ebay to step in and when they do, they refund the buyer from your account and let them keep the item.

The seller is at the mercy of the buyer's choice they select from the dropdown menu when they file a case. Any reason that suggests the "item was not as described" puts the return in motion. The buyer can be lying, the buyer can be telling the truth. IT DOES NOT MATTER to eBAY. It is an automated process, with a set path and predictable results. No customer service person is allowed to change it anymore.
At that point, when the choice is made YOUR DESCRIPTION and YOUR PICTURES don't matter either and will never be viewed again. You policies are never considered, and nobody will even look at what they were.
It is a sad thing in a sense, but that is how it is here now.

So how about we (the sellers) do it like this:
All sellers pause their ads on the same day, don't sell anything and don't pay a penny in sales commission, I want to see.
I'm not in the USA and it's not fair to pay return shipping for the item if the buyer regrets the purchase.

No, they don't.
A "regrets" return is something different than a NAD (not as described) return.
Regrets return = Buyer pays for return shipping.
Not as described return = Seller pays for return shipping.

Thank you for your sincerity, it's a lot of rubbish from eBay, not to mention that the seller can't even be negative anymore, the good times here are gone for those who sell, if it continues like this I think the sellers better get out and let eBay collect their fees. other way.
