Ok, I'm fed up,, another return.
I accept returns no problem,. however,, ebay has emphasized to buyers , go ahead buy it, try it, return it if you don't like it...
I am adding the following to each of my listings.
I accept returns no problem. When buyers purchase from me, Shipping is included in the original purchase price. If a buyer returns an item, because it doesn't fit, they don't like it or they changed their mind etc. The buyer is responsible for return shipping charges. Upon return, the buyer will be refunded their purchase price less the original cost of shipping the item . If you have any questions. please ask, i always answer promptly.
Fellow sellers. please give me feedback as to if you think this is a good solution?

Good Luck to you, I wish you All the Best.
Clear what up?
The MBG is the final word for eBay sales.
There's no debate.
I gave you the link to the MBG ... You would be well served to read it.
And your response us exactly why I back out of those listings.
Because ... If I bought something from you and had to open a SNAD return on day 15 right up to day 30 ... You would give me a hard time ... but I would win. Every time.

The easy solution, stop offering "free" shipping, there is no such thing as "free" shipping, that's a myth, everyone knows the shipping cost is just added into the cost of the item. They are still paying for the shipping, its just lumped into 1 price instead of listed out separately. Do yourself a favor, don't offer free shipping, list and charge the actual shipping to send the item in the separate shipping section and adjust your selling price accordingly. Less headache and if you think people won't buy without free shipping, you are wrong, if your selling price is adjusted to the same as if shipping were included, it has no effect on sales, people can add and are smart enough to know "free" shipping is a marketing ploy.
I only offer "free" shipping on first class items because it's relatively cheap and won't cost me a lot if there is a return.
Good luck.

Do you know what assumption is? Its the Mother of all Screw-ups. My mom, who is the best retailer you could ever know is standing here crying because of your hateful assumptions of who and what were are.
OP, Good Luck. One more thing, never write a CYA note when your mad, always give it a few days.

No assumptions
No hate.
Just facts.
How is it hateful to point out the facts?
You said "14 day final sale"
I said "Doesn't work that way, because of the MBG"
I'm done. I've proved my point of why I avoid listings with TOS that contradict eBay policy.

I think you should put your refund policy in your listings. I recently purchased something from the internet, not Ebay and I paid shipping both ways, the initial purchase and the return. The shipping ended up costing more than the original item. What I learned, was that from now on, I will be more sure of my purchases, ask more questions, and be a better informed buyer. I really think some buyers are more shoppers than buyers. And there is a difference. They have impulse buy and then want to return. Many large retailers, make you pay shipping both ways. It's a sign of the times. IMO.

Ebay should make a deal with the post office to either include return shipping in the cost of the shipping label or get the seller a reduced price on the return shipping label. After all they want sellers to take return to drive buyer satisfaction and the buyers don't want to pay plus the sellers don't want to pay but it is a policy ebay wants. If ebay wont pay then they should help get lowered prices for the labels.
