eBay please fix the multiple offer situation! I have listings where the buyer offers, I accept. Then the offer stays pending. Then the buyer offers again, I accept. Now buyer asks me to cancel the first offer because they already purchased the item.

You accepted offer. Buyer needs to pay why did he not pay?

I too have had at least a handful in the last month where buyers make an offer and I accept. But, one took 3 hours to clear, another 8 hours, I even had one that expired out after I accepted it after 2 days and the buyer re-offered and then it worked properly. At this moment, I have one I accepted this morning. It still shows pending if I look at my Manage Offers page. It also still shows it is still available for sale(I wonder if my buyer knows that). Under my waiting for payment tab, it shows no pending payments. Just now I tried to contact the buyer in case it is something on their end. I put the item number in and it takes me to the the "New" messages where I have no way to contact the other person about if their payment method may be holding up the process. Few broken or endless links here at the wrong time of the year. I just wish Ebay wouldn't tinker with the platform after October 1st and then only monitor and fix broken or missing links from that date until the end of the year.

That's the way it works.
The buyer is notified that you accepted their offer and they're also told (as well as you are told) that the listing stays active until the buyer pays.
If the buyer doesn't pay before someone else swoops in and BINs it, that person will it.
The first person who pays is the winner.

Understood. But, the same buyer is offering on the same item.
