I know this is a scam. Somone mad an offer $300 more then the buy it now. Then a couple minutes later someone made me an offer for the exact price as the buy it now. I thought it might be the same person or a scam. Both are brand new accounts. what do you think? Now Im guessing people will do this even with buy it now offer? I know Im new but havent had this happen before.
People actually send without money being sent first, is that how the scam works? I would know not to send.
Can someone please tell me how to report them? I dont see anywhere to and when i go to contact ebay and report seller there must be transactions.

They are indeed almost certainly scammers, but they haven't done annything wrong yet, so there's nothing to report.

Oh ok. I read in other posts to report these people so ebay knows.
well that really stinks that they will eventually get someone to fall for it.

High dollar stuff listed by a low FB seller is an invitation to these kinds of people. Theory is to never list anything over $100 until your FB as a seller equals the amount of the widget you want to sell.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

New member, selling designer bags? I'd assume ALL offers were scam attempts.
The scam works this way: buyer makes offer, you accept.
Scenario 1: Buyer claims they're having trouble making the PayPal payment, and asks for your PayPal email address. They then send you a fake PayPal email telling you that you've been paid, but the money is being held until you ship.
Scenario 2: Buyer pays with an echeck, which will never clear because they have no money in their bank account. While you're waiting for the "OK" from PayPal, buyer tries to bully you into shipping because they've "already paid".
Suggestion: set a fair price, and dump the Best Offer option. Make sure you have the "Immediate payment required" option selected.

As a seller you have the right to block anybody. Go ahead and block them both and probably move on. Best regards

Right now when i go to offers I no longer can see the people who bid so not sure if their accounts are gone.
