Why is it ok to sell material written by Hitler? Or any other prominent figure that espouses hatred against any group of people. In light of the banning of certain books by Dr Seuss, it is time Mein kampf be banned as well. If canceling isn't even across the board, then it's worthless. I'm not pro canceling speech, because we learn from history and what not to repeat. But I am pro fairness.

As far as I know, neither Hitler nor Mein Kamp's editors have asked to pull the book off the shelves.

Six of Dr. Seuss's books have been identified as problematic by the managers of the author's publications. Dr. Seuss Enterprises has decided those books were inappropriate for today's more inclusive, more tolerant, less insulting, hurtful, denigrating society. Dr. Seuss Enterprises has made the decision to cease the publication, licensing and sales of those books.

Their statement:

Today, on Dr. Seuss’s Birthday, Dr. Seuss Enterprises celebrates reading and also our mission of supporting all children and families with messages of hope, inspiration, inclusion, and friendship.

We are committed to action.  To that end, Dr. Seuss Enterprises, working with a panel of experts, including educators, reviewed our catalog of titles and made the decision last year to cease publication and licensing of the following titles:  And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry StreetIf I Ran the Zoo, McElligot’s Pool, On Beyond Zebra!, Scrambled Eggs Super!, and The Cat’s Quizzer These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong."

Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure Dr. Seuss Enterprises’s catalog represents and supports all communities and families.

Mein Kampf is banned on eBayGermany, along with most material relating to the Nazi era.

Sellers on other eBay sites who list such material get a pop-up reminding us of these laws and eBay's rules.

They are not banned on other sites.
I last saw it when I listed "Hitler's Eva" by Ursula Bloom.

While the Suess books will no longer be published, it is interesting to note the prices being demanded just before eBay clamped down.

EBay's reason may more easily be explained by their price-gouging policy as by some weird Q-related conspiracy theory.

Nazi related items are banned on eBay, with the exception of postage stamps, currency and a few other items. Some banned items still manage to slip thru the cracks.

Here is the link to the policy below. While Mein Kampf is not mentioned specifically, I would think it qualifies as Nazi propaganda, which is not allowed.

Media in some cases can be listed, but if it promotes or glorifies violence, intolerance or racial stereotyping, it is banned. I haven't read the book, but I would be surprised if it didn't fall into the category of perpetuating anti-Semitism.

Are you pro freedom?

This is ebay's site. They are free to ban whatever they want whether you agree with it or not.
