Seems like eBay is in process of banning Qanon, stop the steal, and election related items that promote the 'big lie'. I've seen some stuff in the media about this but no official notice of the update here. Wonder how they will explain this and when.

I do not have a problem with your post , it is called FREE SPEECH , something we used to have in AMERICA. I find it sad you have a problem with how I and many other American's feel. Let's keep Ebay for a place to sell things, to fees our family . Remember we are a capitalistic nation, arn't we?

Free speech in America doesn't apply on a private forum one must sign up for and adhere to their policies, for a private company which also caters to International people....

This discussion does not relate to selling on eBay. If i wanted to discuss politics, i wouldn’t be here.

This is a policy question, not politics.

Very true, and noting international reach is very appropriate.
You know, as for me, I do not have a disdain towards freedom of speech, and if anyone feels that I am attacking such, well, that's not my intentions, and my thoughts are probably due to my upbringing.
I remember when I was a very young teenager, at a family event, and there was dialog (gossip) and I kinda incited some ill feelings amounst some of the attendance; I did such with blatant lies and other dialog, in which could be deemed as propaganda bull, and I remember leaning on the freedom of speech argument, well, it's needless to say, I received a healthy lecture about freedom of speech, from my Mother, in how it must be respected; not taken advantage of, for if we take advantage of particular things, especially hearts and things that we hold dear and love, well, to do such merely brings strife and dangerous discord in the end. Just to note: that lecture lasted well into the night and it included a fine of a written essay on freedom of speech.
And I'm sorry the issue has political overtones, but it is the nature of it. And, as for Liberals, Conservatives and Independents, healthy dialog has made us one of the most powerful country on earth, and my I beg to say, we did not reach that status through inciteful lies, dangerous propaganda and hurtful misinformation.
And a note for socialism and capitalism: I think one only needs to look at the top 1%, and it will become very obvious that capitalism is our economy system and it appears to me to shine brighter with every passing year. In fact, eBay can probably attest to such : )

Although you don't have a problem with the post, but you do disagree with the projection of it, in which I respect because your response is civil.
On one of Martha Stewart's cooking shows, she stated, and I quote her "look at this beautiful ground-up lamb" end of quote.
Now, it is one's own preference whether to eat lamb or not to, personally I try not to eat any type of meats, and I surely will not eat lamb, but again, that is one's own preference, and I do not condemn the preference.
But I do question her words to justify selling her show and the lamb to the public. For I see the lamb as being beautiful when it was bouncing around in the lush, green meadow. But to sell her show and the lamb, she is implying that the lamb is beautiful when its meat has been ground-up into pulp.
And, has you say, she has freedom of speech, although that freedom of speech incites the demise of the lamb. And, I feel certain any heavenly Deity would acknowledge that the lamb was innocent.
Anyway, the issue truly is amid eBay's policies, and by reasoning from recent events, they will/have make/made a decision based on their policies along with the reasoning for a decision.
I wish you the best in your sales.

"The past is whatever the records and the memories agree upon. And since the Party is in full control of all records and in equally full control of the minds of its members, it follows that the past is whatever the Party chooses to make it." - Emmanuel Goldstein/George Orwell.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.” - George Orwell.

"And if all others accepted the lie which the Party imposed—if all records told the same tale—then the lie passed into history and became truth. ‘Who controls the past’ ran the Party slogan, ‘controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.'” - George Orwell.

But you can still purchase all manner of antifa and acab paraphernalia. And that's just the low hanging fruit.
Chairman Mao is also popular in San Jose. He probably murdered 40-60 million human beings.

"Actually, I'd prefer to be able to see both pictures, thank you. Doesn't mean that I agree with either one. I can make up my own mind about what they represent. What if both photos represent violence and a revenge-oriented mindset to me? Even then, I'll take stone cold reality over saccharine Hollywood fantasy any day of the week."
Okay.
I'm not meaning to be a knothole, nor to be disrespectful, but I just want to mention, in your response you've altered the guiding tenet of the post that you are referring to, and by doing so, you have established your own rules.
Now, I do understand though, for you might have missed the memo about the actor, but even with that, with a little imagination the post is self explained. Anyway, it appears that it's not your cup of tea, no matter how you view it, in which is okay.
But one thing is for sure, you can not alter the wording in eBay's policies, nor can you interprete those policies to adhere to your own set of rules.
And whatever decision eBay comes/came to, I'm sure that decision will/has be/been derived from thoughts of what's best for eBay and the furture of eBay.
And, we "all" will probably have an opinion concerning that decision.
Have a great day

I think this was just a simple example of a comparison, but I have to admit Arnold
aka CONAN was looking good back in the day!

Reporting any item to eBay is easy. You can report for a number violations including 'objectionable and violent content'. I assume eBay only makes changes to The Objectionable Items Policy after the language has been reviewed and approved by eBay's legal team.
