So idk if others have been having this issue or not - but ever since the new listing tool released last week there is issue on my account with showing the correct number of items for sale. This has been on my profile page, on my Items for Sale page (access through profile page) and on my Store (it's stated in the search bar on the store the amount of items). When your on either of these and refresh a new number appears, still incorrect, mine range from 237-241 yet I have 242 listings active with stock entered.
OK, so called ebay last week reported it, they made a "ticket" for tech support, come this week still having issue - call again yesterday, they say no ticket existed and made a new ticket and said 24hrs.
Today all new issue... same stuff going on with items count, also entered one listing with 1x quantity I had out of stock until came in yesterday. That item is not showing on my items for sale, store etc... even 24 hrs indexing, it should be showing instead it's completely left out... also I have "refreshed" listings in bulk editor and that doesn't correct anything either.
But as to the new issue - so when your on profile page and click browser refresh now many times, it doesn't refresh the page at all, it goes to my Store, it also does it if i click my username dropdown top left corner of any page to go to my profile, half the time brings me to my Store also.

It seemed similar to yours, but I didn't know enough of your style of listing (later you explained it), to be certain. It WOULD be helpful if you at least posted on that thread to indicate that you are also experiencing the issue & post a link to this thread. Just something along the lines of 'I'm having it too - see this link for documentation'. I know you understand the need for documentation, since you're in software 😀
Thank you for the kind words! Yes, I was very excited! Applying for it is easy, there are announcements on the site every year, you just follow the links to HelloAlice.com, who administers the grant. Let me re-phrase that...finding HOW to apply for the grant is easy! Actually applying takes some reflection, thought & ability to put concepts into a limited number of words, all of which I absolutely know you can do, just from your posts on here. I will say that the hardest part for someone like you & I, who are detail-oriented, is to be able to summarize the answers into 300 words or less 🤔 I struggled greatly with succintness, but apparently I won that battle 😀

I did, I mentioned the OP and said I had same issue and directed a link to this thread... ok that's not really a huge amount of engage, but it was "something" lol.

@nuclearomen Great! That's all it takes. It's important if IT ever needs to look at it, but mostly so that they are aware it affects multiple people. I will PM you if I ever find where I saw it documented. I'm off to a nap LOL.

I am having the exact same problem for days now. Called ebay concierge multiple times, they said they're aware of the issue and working on it. The only reliable workaround I've found is to end the listing and relist it under a new item number. Then you'll have no problems being found in search. The problem is that nukes the sales history and the associated search ranking, which I really don't want to do if I can avoid it. I can't believe this still isn't fixed almost a week later. If this isn't fixed within another week I'll probably have to nuke my entire sales history just to move on.

@respec.io Exactly! I said the same thing to the CS reps + here on this thread. I don't want to end the listing it's happening on cause I have sold quantity on it. I have one item I sell a lot of and when i sell 1 i enter another and this issue isn't happening with that item, but on another item.
The issue is the item does not appear on your items for sale or your store - I even tried to place it on my store in the row for popular items and it disappears from there also. If you search your store you can find it, but what good does that do for buyers visiting your store looking for items they may have interest in or want to buy - not like they know what you have and type it into the store search bar.
The item will appear through ebay search if someone happens to search for that item, but the point here is, it should be visible on sellers items for sale page (which today they now made as the user profile - til scroll down and click "view all" and sends to a new items for sale page).
The entire new design for profile can't be seen unless users clicks on your "About" on your store and it then goes to users profile. Then it looks like a store but isn't, like said to get to view items page you have to scroll to bottom of how many listings they decided to place there and click "view all" to get to the view items page...all of this pretty dumb because they just look like store... well what's the point of paying for a store now if they are making profiles like a store??? Are they moving to just selling users the benefits of having a store tier and everyone just gets the store look now? This company makes the most horrid of decisions... but not only that, they have horrid vision and web design. Top it off those who sitting at the helm who approve all these dumb ideas...not sure what is worse the ones who think it up and present them or the ones who approve it???

yep! I too are having the same issue. I restocked some items last week and they are not appearing on searches, even when searching item#. Understand can end listing and sell similar but i am the same as you i like to keep number of "Sold" items for that product and do not want to create a new listing. I contacted CS and they said wait 48 hours for the listings to be indexed. Nothing! Please let us know if yours gets resolved as CS said they passed onto tech team to fix but its been a week still not resolved.

i checked my store this morn and the item that wasn't appearing now is... don't know if they have fixed some thing or this is just a fluke of chance because it's still not appear on my items for sale page and when i went back to the store after checking that it wasn't there, i refreshed the page 2x and it appeared again...

@nuclearomen Good to hear your one is fixed. Mine is still not appearing when searching the item number says "No exact matches found". Does your listings appear when you search with the item number?

@jasso_lifestyle no it doesn't, says same thing as you get. It also doesn't show if type in the name in search now either - was before, but now it's not...fun. Love ebay more every passing day.

@jasso_lifestyle it's also not appearing on store or items for sale page either now....so earlier post showing it was is obviously fluke of luck...appear to disappear.

(that's absurd i know, but ebay doing really wacky things lately and i don't doubt anything anymore - have to watch everything like hawk these days!)
5. The other issue I reported and had ticket made for is this little weirdness. When I click my name drop down at top left of any ebay page to go to my profile page it instead is sending me to my Ebay Store, this also happens when i'm on my profile page and I click browser refresh, it sends me to my store... and I cannot get back to my profile page no matter how many times I click that link at top upper left to get there.
6. Now another new thing has appeared - on my Items For Sale page, looks like ebay is making changes to items that sold and only have 1 remaining in stock - this started tonight, the left side shows how they are displaying some of my listings with 1 left in stock and the right side is the old way they display it, but these are still like that currently, only some are changed to the left screenshot I show.
7. ALL of this STARTED last week when ebay implemented the newest listing tool and forced everyone into it to use (with no option to opt out). There is also 1 more issue need to mention...tonight when creating new listings, I needed to save one so I could go back in and finish it - i did save it...but what happened? The listing didn't save to my drafts... literally at all, there was nothing saved at all. I had to redo the entire thing from scratch! So yeah, maybe get someone on that among the slew of other issues. Since CS doesn't seem to do anything when I call, they say they made a ticket for tech support but nothing has been done over a week now...maybe you can get tech support to fix these issues (not just for me of course but anyone having them).

I have no desire to read through the bickering of certain members that spend way too much time here and should figure out how to get their sales up to keep them busy with that.
I started using eBay in incognito tabs and it seems to help with many issues.

@the-hook-and-the-loop you yourself spend too much time here, and usually complaining, just saying maybe you should take your own advise.
incognito doesn't help the situation, it's just avoiding issues that are still present, some of this turns out to be not "issues" but ebay literally changed everything over the weekend, profiles, items for sale page, stores etc...

elizabeth@ebay thank you, turns out a lot of this is ebay making intentional changes to the site - would have been nice to have a warning before hand. The issue that is consistent is item that were out of stock and then had new stock entered seem to no be appearing on sellers items for sale page or store, they also do not come up when searching for the item on ebay either, using title or item numbers, it will say when using item number ""No exact matches found". That I would say is the main issue happening to worry about - the rest is just poor ebay transparency of what they were going to do with profiles etc...
