Got an ebay message on this ID - "hi i'll be in demming next week do you still have the gulf sign in photo"

What - What? WHAT?

OK, Deming is the town 'next door' to us. OK, wants to come to the real store. OK. But how does he know about real store or we're near Deming?  And gulf sign? In photo? What photo? WHAT?

Ten minutes later after much discussion...

Oh yeah - the photo - on the ebay profile page, of the corner wall of tin signs in the real store. And we did mention the real store and the town name on the profile page. OK, now makes sense. He was looking at our profile page and pinned out the tiny - 1/32 of an inch at best - image of a gulf oil sign in the 1-1/4 by 1-3/4 inch photo on the profile page. OK, got it figured out.

Too bad the photo is fifteen years old and we don't have it anymore.

Sounds like someone who is neuro-atypical in some way.  I don't mean that in a joking or mean way.  Some people have real difficulty imagining what information you lack to understand what they are saying; they assume because they know it, you must know it.

Just a little advice. Those dirty things maybe clean up a little and definitely take them off that dirty table. Find a cleaner spot to take your pictures.

Boss's dead dad's vintage 'folds into a cabinet' desk and that's his dad's 'dirt' so never gonna be removed - but we have started covering with an old board game board as the surface.

And as to a stalker I know you're both joking but we're had a real one since 1997 - it's called the festering wound because it never really went away, even when it 'went away' AKA sent to prison. Not a fun subject here.
