I am going on vacation. How do I let my buyers know that I won't be available?

If you have a store then you can turn on vacation settings.

If you do not have a store then you need to end all your listings

Set your "TIME AWAY" to reflect your dates and other info.

Adjust the Time Away to show your intentions. Adjust your Handling Times, if necessary. Hide your listings, if necessary.

That is old, and therefore now wrong- information.

Anyone can put their 'items on vacation' as anyone can use 'Time Away'. 

Notes:

1.) That you need to adjust your 'handling' time from whatever it is now to whatever it will be when you return.

2.)  you are still responsible to ship out stated (therefore, do as stated above)

3.) If gone longer than 2-3 days, best to just 'end' listings

4) If items are 'buy it now' and NOT on Auctions, you can 'block sales/views' of your items, which again- best if you plan to be gone longer than 3 days.
