Not being notified when customers make purchases?

Hi-has anyone else experienced the very recent trend of not being notified by email when customers make purchases? The last 3 sales I've made, I only noticed because I searched my sold items-I never received any emails as I normally do, letting me know when a sale comes through? Thanks

Emails can be problematic from Ebay..........  you get them some/most of the time...then not.

Best thing to do is check your solds everyday........at least once........

Yea, I'm not receiving them either, last few days. I get the paypal notices at least. Ebay emails have not been dependable for as long as I've been on ebay 20 yrs. So I don't depend on them. You gotta wonder how they keep breaking stuff.

A email passes through so many networks, devices and programs between eBay and my inbox that I would never rely on email to run my business. I log into eBay and PayPal at least three times a day and check my sccounts directly. 

An eBay notification from a company like eBay passes through a queue, a background service, a mail delivery agent, a company network, a firewall, a mail transport agent, a bunch of routers, DNS services, more routers, spam blockers, spam filters, another MTA, another MDA, another router, my local network, my spam filter, and my mail client. A failure anywhere along the line can delay or disrupt an email.

I have not started selling again yet, most recently last fall, but I guess I have been lucky because I received an email from ebay for every single sale I had.

I find it bizarre that some people would experience problems regarding this issue periodically, some all of a sudden after previously not having an issue and then others (such as myself) none at all.

Yes. Started yesterday. No item SOLD email notification, just a PayPal notification that item was paid. I don't have a mobile device stitched into my hand and rely on a desk and a computer to do eBay. Maybe they think everyone waits for a "sound" to notify them something has happenned on the site /s.

I havent gotten a sales notification in about a year.  That being said I always get the paypal notification.

I always used to get them, but today, my first sale in five days, it was PayPal who informed me. I'll take it anyway I can get it.

I, too, have not been notified of a couple of sales.  Thing is, I was notified of another.  The ones I was not notified on I just happened to catch them by noticing the items were no longer listed.  One item was $1600 and you'd think that eBay would definitely notify seller when high priced items sell.

Hoping someone can tell me what's wrong and whether or not I can do something in preferences to make sure future sales get me notified.

Also, I want eBay to notify when sale made through text message.  I tried turning that on and I couldn't do it...please help on this issue, as well.

I just found something that irritated the heck out of me.  No, eBay isn't sending me notices, and no, unless they pay I won't know.  Someone bought something from me a few days ago with the best offer.  It has been sitting in my pay for it for several days with no payment.  I saw it and just sent the guy an invoice.  Though, they could have just paid.

E-mail, are you serious ? Use your own I.D. by logging into your account. You can also check Ebay messages.
