Hi, recently became a Top Rated Plus Seller and sold several items in May 2021. I made sure these listings qualified for Top rated plus (ex- 1 day handling, free 30 day returns, return paid by seller etc.) and made sure that the listings had the "Top Rated Plus" seal on them.
I received my payout today, and after looking at the fees, I see that the fees were charged as normal (12.35% + 30 cents per listing) and the 10% discount wasn't applied.
Tried chatting with customer service and after waiting 1.5 hours and 3 referrals, my response was "Wait until you get your May invoice and see if the issue still persists. If it does, try contacting us again".
Now curious to see if anyone else had this issue. If it's not in my payout, where should the 10% discount appear? At this point I highly doubt customer service will ever help.

Sorry - FP = Fixed Priced listing. GTC = Good 'til Cancelled
When you first list an item, if the date it was first listed you were not Top Rated +, the listing needs to roll over into a time frame (they renew each 30 days) where you are. At that point, the FP listing now qualifies.
If you just recently became eligible for Top Rated Seller + and the listing was an existing one - it is confusing because once you change the parameters to allow for free returns and 1 day handling, it shows the listing as eligible. But it technically is not on Fixed Price, until it rolls over into the new 30 days and re-lists itself automatically.
If this was a brand new listing that you created and listed AFTER you became Top rates Seller +, then you would need to contact e-Bay to inquire. Sorry for the use of the acronyms. I forget not everyone knows what they mean. My apologies.

Woah, GOOD QUESTION. I just checked mine and I didn't get any discount either. I don't have many sales but I know a few were created after May 20th(as if that matters). What are you suppose to do delete all your listings and relist after the evaluation? That would be ridiculous and crosseyed in thinking I would say. Maybe I'm not even top rated plus. Not seeing the sales I thought i'd get. Now like you I see I'm not getting a discount on items that clearly meet the criteria. Wow what dirty sneaky website.

@skeletonstore your listings have the TRP symbol - so yes, you should be getting the TRP discount applied to fees at time of sales (in Managed Payments)

I'm not and I'm asking them why right now.

go get 'em 😆 - seriously you should though, if notice your not getting the discount you put up with ebay rules to get that is money they owe you in credit.

Yeah or why offer such crazy things like 60 day free returns and free shipping etc. This is the last straw. I'll go back to amazon immediately.

My complaint has been submitted to the appeals department. Good luck with your "appeal". Huh? Appeal? What did we do wrong, except look? ha!

I heard they were getting rid of the Top Rated Seller Plus program the badge and all it was in one of their updates so I guess the 10% fvf discount also went bye byes to.

I thought it was the PS program going away - not TRS+

@shocking_metal wrote:I looked at some of the items sold in June and I do see the "Special Promotion". However, my evaluation to Top Rated was on May 20th, but several items were listed on May 22 and sold on the 29th do not have the "Special Promotion" applied. Is there something I'm missing here?
Seller evaluations occur on the 20th and any changes to seller status go info effect on the 1st of the next month. Are you seeing any transactions starting June 1st that are missing the TRS+ discount, @shocking_metal?

No, all of my listings in June have the TRP discount applied so it’s fine for those, but I distinctively remember seeing ”Top Rated” on the seller dashboard on May 21 as my current seller status. Furthermore the listings were listed after I the evaluation and had the TRP stamp on it, so I have can’t see why they didn’t give me the discount. I followed eBay’s selling policies after all to get the TRP stamp.

Then there's no problem to report. The system behaved as it was programmed. May 20th eval goes into effect on June 1st.
To enable more consistent service when providing eBay Top Rated Seller discounts or applying fees, we’re streamlining the seller evaluation timelines from July 2020. The consequence of your monthly Seller Performance Evaluation currently applies to listings from that same month. From July 2020, they will apply to listings in the following month. We’ll begin the transition to the new timelines on the June 20 evaluation. There is no action required of you for the updated timelines.

As wastingtime said, the discount starts the month after you qualified for trs so sales from June 1 on should have the discount even though you had the badge earlier.
