I have noticed over the last few months I am not getting 1,000 listings. I don't list 1,000 items a month. Since I was charged I think it was $14.00 a few months ago I've keep a check on what it says on my store page. I do end a sell similar and list about 5 new items a day. I checked what eBay says I listed and it jumps through out the day even if I haven't listed anything or did sell similar. This morning it went from 48 to 0! I admit I haven't kept a detailed account but I will now. My store is really going to go downhill because I'm not paying for any listings. Is this happening to anyone else? I know end and sell similar will count for your 1,000 but I haven't done that and only listed about 10 items in the last 4 days. Thanks!

BIN = Buy It Now
This term is used in two ways: (1) An option that can be added to auction-format listings, or (2) fixed price listings. In this context, it's option (2).
As noted above, your fixed price listings roll over every month (on the same date that they were originally listed) and that uses up one of your free insertions if one is available. If you end the listing before its rollover date and then use "Sell similar" to relist it, then you're using up one of your free insertions for a new listing rather than for a rollover.

I get 10,000 free listings every month
I pay for 1,000 with my store subscription.
My listings are taken off the 10,000 before they are taken off the 1,000
The important thing is not getting charged extra for the listings, rather than
trying to figure out eBay's goofy score keeping methods.

What are your listing limits? Are you allowed to list 1000 items per month? Even if you pay for a store, you are still limited to whatever monthly limits they give you.

Any listing that renews during the month (such as all good to cancel listings) also count.

Any item that you list, or sell similar "list", or that rolls over (already listed but going for another month) -
counts against your 1000.
Since you have 2300+ listings it would be easy to go over 1000 in a month.

Yes. I have the basic store subscription

Your accounts shows you have 2,355 items listed. You have to pay listing fee on anything over 1,000 listings.

Thanks for your answer. I thought the only thing that counts were sell similar and a new listing. Don't think it should count but I'm not surprised it does!

Boy am I in trouble! I guess I won't be selling similar anymore. Thanks!

Are you aware that ebay automatically renews your BIN listings every month?
You get 1,000 free listings per month.
You carry over 2,000 listings from last month and they renew, You have to pay
for the extra 1,000
Any new listing you make with over 1,000 current listing you pay

How about upgrading your store subscription? If my calculations are correct, you could save hundreds of dollars.
03-27-2023 10:36 AM
You actually have no choice but to upgrade your store from 1,000 listings to 10,000 listings. Even if you do not relist on your own you will still be paying 1,300 listings x 30 cents each for a cost of $390 a month.

I'm averaging about $100. a week in take home pay. I don't think it would make that much of a difference. I'm paying $22 and the next store is what $55? I just won't list anything else.

What?! Obviously I'm terrible at math. What have I been paying them for the last two years!
