Not Able To Resend Offer

This past week I have had 2 customers ask for me to resend an offer that I had previously sent out en mass to all watchers.  The message they send has the "reply with offer" button, but when I click it, it says "There is an active offer for this buyer or limit of offers was reached".

I have gone back and confirmed that the offer was sent on 21 Feb - 7 days ago.  I thought offers expired in 2 days?  And unless they only get 1 offer...how have I reached the limit?

You cannot send multiple offers for the same amount to a buyer. You would have to offer an offer at a lower price. And you might not be able to do that if you have exceeded the permitted number of offers.

Offers are a PITA when you make them to a certain portion of the buyer community, the one's who lack the time or money to accept them within the proper window.

If the buyer wants the item now, then just change the price and tell them to buy it immediately before someone else does.  I don't think you can send a second offer or private offer.

My understanding is that only one offer per buyer per item is permitted.  I've had buyers contact me about missing my offer, and if I'm still okay with the amount, I merely revise my listing to that amount and let them know.  They usually buy at that time---of course anyone can, but that's fine with me too.

Thank you.  So odd since on "Best Offer" you get a bunch of offer chances.
