Did you mean:

Non responsive buyer

I have a "Buy it Now" auction that was ended when a buyer bought and paid for the item. It is CLEARLY marked as local pickup ONLY. I have sent four messages to this individual with NO response on arranging a pickup. At the very least, I think they deserve negative feedback. It doesn't seem possible.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: Non responsive buyer

Allow a few more days for a buyer response, to arrange a pickup.

Re: Non responsive buyer

Local Pickup hasn't seen much success on ebay.

What you describe is par for the course, buyers pay and fail to realize the item won't ship to them.

Unfortunately it literally happens more often than not.

But I will say this...

I think you could easily sell that projector for around $120 "Free Shipping," it would probably cost around $25-$40 to ship most anywhere... Also I'd change the returns policy to 30 days free.

Re: Non responsive buyer

Your buyer paid for the item; you still have it. You're not out anything. Why would you think to leave bad feedback?

Re: Non responsive buyer

It doesn't really matter that you feel a buyer deserves negative feedback, since buyers cannot be given negative feedback under ANY circumstances.

Looks like you sold that item over a week ago.  If you want, you can give it a few more days, then cancel and refund, citing "problem with buyer's address as the reason for your cancellation.

Re: Non responsive buyer

Unless you can't hold the item, just give it some time and send some reminders. At that point it's up to the buyer to get the item.

Re: Non responsive buyer

Why? Isn't feedback the method we use to determine who is 'worthy' or 'not worthy'?

Re: Non responsive buyer

That so? You can NEVER leave a negative for a buyer?

Yes, you can only leave positive feedback for a buyer.

It looks like you have listed and sold that same item 4 times now, are they all buyers that thought it would be shipped then cancelled?

Only once they start wondering where is their order, this could be a week or two from now...

Uhm that was the theory behind it anyway, then some folks started to abuse the concept, using it as retaliation and other similarly silly methods of madness.

Yes! And I finally reached a point of enough is enough! My own preference would be to send him a reminder once a week FOREVER!

Yup. You can't 'ding' buyers. Their only job is to pay, really.

Sorry, but try not to fret over it.

Re: Non responsive buyer

Most of us would just go pick it up. But everyone is fighting their own battles and we each have our own issues. If it still bothers you, i guess you can refund his money and re-list.
