I have a "S.O.B."  in India, bought six lots, never paid for them, strung me out till a few days after the point were I could no open cases against him, filed "6" negatives on Easter day. And, there is no way I can contact eBay to see if the negatives can be reversed.. I Been on eBay for 22 years with almost 39,000 total positive feedbacks. I have other recent issues also, but cannot contact them and they do "not" answer written requests either. Its time to close my premium store and say "the hell with eBay"... CWOPSAM

It was a slogan of some company in Chicago which went out of business around 75-80 years ago. Absolutely wrong statement.

You can block buyers with unpaid item strikes against them.  From seller hub go to "site preferences" then scroll down to "buyer requirements"  and then click edit.  I currently have mine set to block any buyer who has had 2 unpaid item strikes in the last 6 months.  However you may have to have a store subscription to use this option.

Cannot leave them negative so I put remark as positively a NON PAYING BUYER. But they still get the positive feed back. It makes me angry. There are so many dead beats that buy and don't pay. I then block them. Have had a couple beg me to let them buy. NO NO NO Got stung once are you kidding me.
Ebay need to change that. Sellers tend to get it in the back every time. Buyers lie and the seller gets the brunt. NOT RIGHT>

I am disgusted with eBay.  I've been selling since 2006, & I'm sure there have been lots of Sellers that have been selling longer.  Buyers (especially Millenials) have totally taken over eBay.  Selling prices are ridiculously lower, fees are through the roof, shipping has gone crazy, & Sellers are doing all the work for pennies.  If I call eBay I always insist on a Supervisor.  I push the point until I get satisfaction.  Wish I knew how to do something, but I wish there was a way that Sellers could band together & make a statement to eBay so they would pay attention.  I sell mainly Collectibles & china, & I know that shipping is the main reason for lower sales~~that & the fact that we're in the "paper plate generation).  Needed too vent.  Nothing personal intended for any Sellers or Buyers.  It's just an unfortunate trend.

Re: Non payers showing 100% feed back what's with that?

Oh you got that right . We the sellers are actually treated like dirt . When it comes to buyers vs sellers . Ebay's buyer protection is just screw the seller and refund the money . Seller protection doesn't truly exist unless you ship your items tracked and insured . So who provides the seller protection . Us the seller if we choose to ship the item tracked . The playing field has been so uneven for so long buyers take advantage of it . Sadly its just the price of doing business on ebay . Once upon a time ebay gave top rated sellers 20 percent off . now its 10 percent . ebay takes 10 percent of your shipping we charge . So in my case everytime i ship to the US or international  i actually lose money . Its great how that works If we charge more to off set it are dsr's get destroyed  we lose are top rated status . So we all have a choice suck it up or stop selling on here . I've  stopped selling for a few years  they really don't miss us lol. as for the non paying bidders well  you can set up in your setting to not allow anyone to buy who have non  paying strikes against them . it works somewhat .I only wish ebay would at least show  that the buyer has strikes just to equal the playing field . Anyways i hope all my fellow sellers are staying safe .

I leave negatively worded feedback for deadbeat buyers in the hope other seller see's it, and cancel the transaction to avoid the hassle . The system is all about the buyer, and not fair to sellers.

I quit giving feedback unless they give me feedback first. I decided some buyer's I will not give feedback to. You can't give buyer's negative feedback and I wish we could. I have a couple return request I only give the refund when they ship it back to me. They are waiting for me to give them money back without shipping product back. They'll be waiting a long time there running a scam beware of the return give me my money and I'll keep your product. Anyway we should be able to give negative back if there doing things there not supposed to to warn other seller's.

Re: Non payers showing 100% feed back what's with that?

I notified eBay through the automated system. I did not receive a response from the company. I did receive an automatic message my time had run out to resolve the problem.
The SVR Rep. told me there is nothing they could do after calling them.

And as a seller, if your buyer screws up eBay is ready to pounce on you... the seller. 🙂

Re: Non payers showing 100% feed back what's with that?

The sellers who were stiffed did the right thing and opened Unpaid Item Disputes.

The buyers got a Strike, the sellers got their FVF back and the buyers could not leave (vindictive) feedback.

If you want to avoid such bidders, you can:

  • set your Seller Preferences/Buyer Requirements  to automatically Block bidders /buyers with Strikes.
  • Use only Fixed Price listings, since most UIDs are from failed Auctions
  • Use Fixed Price/Immediate Payment Required and your listing will stay open for 30 days or until someone pays.

If you have an unpaid item you can:

  • Cancel the sale, taking a chance that you will receive a Defect. The deadbeat can leave negative feedback.
  • Ask the buyer if he wants to complete the sale, and cancel when he says no. (You might also get a Defect if he does not actually refuse to complete the sale.)
  • Wait four days (two if you are US-based) and open an Unpaid Item Dispute. Wait another four days to close it. The deadbeat might pay during that time, if he is just a slow payer.  A deadbeat cannot leave feedback.

No one will ever read your negative feedback except a few auction sellers. Most sellers use Fixed Price listings and only meet their customer when he buys. Most Auctions end with a single bidders near the end of the auction, when it is too late to cancel a bid.
