I have a "S.O.B." in India, bought six lots, never paid for them, strung me out till a few days after the point were I could no open cases against him, filed "6" negatives on Easter day. And, there is no way I can contact eBay to see if the negatives can be reversed.. I Been on eBay for 22 years with almost 39,000 total positive feedbacks. I have other recent issues also, but cannot contact them and they do "not" answer written requests either. Its time to close my premium store and say "the hell with eBay"... CWOPSAM

It was a slogan of some company in Chicago which went out of business around 75-80 years ago. Absolutely wrong statement.

You can block buyers with unpaid item strikes against them. From seller hub go to "site preferences" then scroll down to "buyer requirements" and then click edit. I currently have mine set to block any buyer who has had 2 unpaid item strikes in the last 6 months. However you may have to have a store subscription to use this option.

I am disgusted with eBay. I've been selling since 2006, & I'm sure there have been lots of Sellers that have been selling longer. Buyers (especially Millenials) have totally taken over eBay. Selling prices are ridiculously lower, fees are through the roof, shipping has gone crazy, & Sellers are doing all the work for pennies. If I call eBay I always insist on a Supervisor. I push the point until I get satisfaction. Wish I knew how to do something, but I wish there was a way that Sellers could band together & make a statement to eBay so they would pay attention. I sell mainly Collectibles & china, & I know that shipping is the main reason for lower sales~~that & the fact that we're in the "paper plate generation). Needed too vent. Nothing personal intended for any Sellers or Buyers. It's just an unfortunate trend.

Oh you got that right . We the sellers are actually treated like dirt . When it comes to buyers vs sellers . Ebay's buyer protection is just screw the seller and refund the money . Seller protection doesn't truly exist unless you ship your items tracked and insured . So who provides the seller protection . Us the seller if we choose to ship the item tracked . The playing field has been so uneven for so long buyers take advantage of it . Sadly its just the price of doing business on ebay . Once upon a time ebay gave top rated sellers 20 percent off . now its 10 percent . ebay takes 10 percent of your shipping we charge . So in my case everytime i ship to the US or international i actually lose money . Its great how that works If we charge more to off set it are dsr's get destroyed we lose are top rated status . So we all have a choice suck it up or stop selling on here . I've stopped selling for a few years they really don't miss us lol. as for the non paying bidders well you can set up in your setting to not allow anyone to buy who have non paying strikes against them . it works somewhat .I only wish ebay would at least show that the buyer has strikes just to equal the playing field . Anyways i hope all my fellow sellers are staying safe .

I leave negatively worded feedback for deadbeat buyers in the hope other seller see's it, and cancel the transaction to avoid the hassle . The system is all about the buyer, and not fair to sellers.

And as a seller, if your buyer screws up eBay is ready to pounce on you... the seller. 🙂

The sellers who were stiffed did the right thing and opened Unpaid Item Disputes.
The buyers got a Strike, the sellers got their FVF back and the buyers could not leave (vindictive) feedback.
If you want to avoid such bidders, you can:
If you have an unpaid item you can:
No one will ever read your negative feedback except a few auction sellers. Most sellers use Fixed Price listings and only meet their customer when he buys. Most Auctions end with a single bidders near the end of the auction, when it is too late to cancel a bid.
