Re: Non payers showing 100% feed back what's with that?

buyers get to do anything they please with ebay and ebay does absolutely nothing about it. I agree with you if they don't pay even if we as a seller can not leave them a negative feedback we should be able to warn other sellers of their actions. Even if this is something that a buyer can not see and only sellers selling an item. Or maybe ebay should give sellers an option to not sell to any buyer that has an unpaid item strike. Its a real crock that the sellers are the ones who pay ebay workers salaries with all the fees we get charged for everything that ebay can get away with but yet ebay doesn't stand behind sellers at all.

It is totally unfair business practice that a buyer can not get a negative feedback. Just because they pay for an item does not mean they are a good customer at all. Feedback should be based an the entire transaction from start to finish.

All you can do is put them on your blacklist and then go to Blowout Forum and leave their name as a non-payer for all our members to be informed.

Been that way since I joined eBay in 2008.

My take on on this issue is that there is nothing to be gained by having a word "food fight" in the Feedback arena.  Always best for sellers to remain professional  - that is one of things  my 41  year selling career taught me.  And it worked.

Or maybe ebay should give sellers an option to not sell to any buyer that has an unpaid item strike.

Sellers can file an Unpaid Item Dispute when the buyer doesn't pay as soon as 48 hours have passed.  Then they get another 96 hours to pay.  No payment?  Then the seller closes the case to get the FVF credited and the buyer gets a STRIKE on his/her account.  You can set your BUYER REQUIREMENTS to block buyers with 2 or more unpaid strikes in 12 months.  This way you never see them.

They want to copy Amazon. It's a happy place here, now drink your kool-aid and buy things.

Re: Non payers showing 100% feed back what's with that?

I sold a needlepoint kit to an International buyer.  I shipped it next day to eBay in Kentucky for them to forward  to this buyer.  I received a negative from him after not communicating saying he did not receive it at the promised date.  The comment said  tracking said it was delivered yesterday, but he had not received it.  I contacted him and he said he has it and it was crumpled down in his mail box.  I asked him to please contact eBay and ask them to remove the negative.  Nothing was done.  I filed a protest with eBay and nothing was done.  I called eBay and they said they could not do anything.  I am not responsible for  how long it takes for a package to ship from eBay's Kentucky facility.  I am not responsible for how the package is handled by the post office in another country.  I noticed eBay has changed feedback and it is showing reciprocal, which takes you to seller's response.   That was not done  on my ad.  I received an email saying the time on the filing with eBay has ended.  I have been selling on the site since 1998 and was a top rated seller for a long time.  I responded to the treatment I received from eBay by canceling my ads.  In my opinion one of the biggest problems eBay created was by laying off American customer SVC Reps. and sending us to the Philippines.  Giving us free listings is helpful, but the most important thing that causes the seller to go to other selling sites is eBay siding with the buyer.  Moving our comments when we respond to a negative to another section is another way to hide the problem and protect the buyer.  I know we need our buyers, but the seller's final price after all the fees and low selling price is not worth the effort.  I compete with China who manufactures items they have been reproduced off the eBay site at slave wages.  I was doing very well with my homemade hats years ago until copies started showing up on eBay.  Then they were being sold to the World Trade Center in Dallas.  I stopped making them due to the low price they were selling for on eBay.  There are other companies that are less expensive to use.  One of the biggest thorns in sellers sides is feedback.  I know that does not seem important to eBay, but when you are defrauded and unjustly accused of something you feel is unfair, it is a big deal.  If the government goes up on USPS fees, Pres. Trump said increase shipping fees four times.  If that happens then sellers will need to go to other companies like Fed-Ex and UPS for shipping.  That will mean many more people on unemployment.  I hope the new CEO can make changes, which will restore faith from the sellers to the company they have loved for so many years.  I believe we are very close to the final chapter.

I asked him to please contact eBay and ask them to remove the negative.  Nothing was done.

That negative was posted 6 months ago.  The time to either REPLY to the negative, or to send a Feedback Revision Request to the buyer was 6 months ago.  If you waited longer than a month, it is too late.  ebay will only remove feedback if it violates policy, and that neg did not.

Yup it sucks.  A buyer can leave you a malicious feedback and it's considered their "opinion".  I have one Neg from a clown in Mill Valley that emailed me,

"I don't like it".  He wanted his $$$ back and to keep the poster.

Money for nuthin' Chicks for free

But not here.  I'd rather schlep the neg around for a year than to be blackmailed.

There is NO seller protection.

Sell at your own risk.

ebay does not care and the buyer is not always right !! I think many buyers try these stunts because they know they can get away with it but the ebay peanut gallery always jumps in and finds no fault of ebay !  Just deal with it they say !! Just because someone leaps off a bridge does not mean I want to lol !! What a shame it is ! Ebay used to be really fun and prosperous but not no more. It is much more work with no profit to speak of ! Major flaws all the time because they are trying to be amazon and I will never buy from amazon myself ! It is making Americans to lazy to go shopping ! Just sit on the ol butt and get fat ! I miss watching the auctions like they used to be popular for but good ol GTC ruined it ! Any more brain storming from ebay just might be enough to put em under for good !

Rite On man! how soon we all forget. Give eight years of Obama credit for what he deserves. Trade deals, HAHAHAHAHAHA
Remember when fearless leader campaigned, part of the platform was we need to manufacture here, make America Great. Obama's trade deals did the opposite. Look at where we are at today, scrambling for supplies that the "emerging under privileged" nation (that's the WHO designation), China has multiple category control of the American economy. Target, Wal-Mart, Costco are their distributors. You wanted cheap, you got cheap, now here are the consequences.
There will be a reckoning with China for all the death, terror, disease and financial destruction their lack and delay of communication has caused.

And then there's ebay:
Yea Yea ebay,
FREE Listing
FREE Shipping
FREE Returns
Just ask them, everything is FREE, FREE, FREE

The fuse is lit on ebay. It would be wise to find alternatives if all of you intend to continue selling your stuff.
