I have a customer that requested a refund for no reason on a posted no return item. eBay granted the request without asking for my side of the story… what recourse do I have?…how do I file a dispute?, if the item shows up on my doorstep, I plan on refusing delivery.

You mean ebay allowed a buyer to return an item? Return for refund.
You should read up on that:

You plan on refusing the return?
So you want to be out the money AND the item?

Yes, I will deny the return andI will not refund the money…. This buyer purchased this item on a “pick up only” basis and arranged shipping and packing by a third party…the third party took possession of the item in perfect condition and packed, insured and shipped the item to the customer… The customer has complained to eBay that it was damaged in shipping and wants a full refund. . How do I proceed a dispute on this?

You got an answer on your previous post:

Some good info to look at there.

So let me get this straight. The buyer bought this on a “pick up only” basis by coming to you and buying the item or did you change those terms and allow them to have it shipped ?

Who is this third party? The buyer gave the item they picked up to another person who shipped it? And who did they ship it to. You need to be more specific here on what happened.

In OP's previous post, it sounds like the buyer had a third party come to the seller's location, package the item and ship it to the buyer. Not sure, but that was my take on it.

Yeah just go ahead and refuse delivery then the buyer gets a REFUND and the item will go back to them so they get both.

If you refuse delivery then the buyer will get the item back to keep and oh yeah eBay will automatically refund them.

On a "no returns" item, eBay does not refund a buyer from a seller's account unless the buyer files a dispute and wins it.
You must respond to the dispute within the allotted time or the buyer wins by default and is refunded without being required to return the item.
If you respond to the dispute and refuse the return and ask eBay to step in, the buyer generally wins anyway and is refunded without being required to return the item.
In the user agreement, you agreed that eBay gets to make the final decision. Refusing a package will not change that decision or benefit you in any way. The item will simply go back to the buyer and you will lose even more.

Ummm, that's not how it works. You can deny the return but eBay will refund the money from your account whether you agree or not. Once eBay sees that the return has been scanned as delivered, you have 48 hours to refund or they will do it for you. You can fight this or you can just accept the return and refund. If you go down the road you seem to want to go down, the buyer will have your item and their money back and you will be left with nothing.
That's how it works here and like it or not, that is what you agreed to when you signed up and listed your item for sale. I highly recommend you read the links that others have provided as they explain what you agreed eBay can do on your and the buyers behalf.

When will folks realize there is NO "No Return" policy on Ebay? Accept the return, refund the buyer. You're just shooting yourself in the foot.
