I've been with eBay for 18 years and during this time I've had a few down times. Unfortunately, I've found myself to have no support from eBay. I was late with some shipping due to being in the hospital for nearly 2 weeks. I was concerned about the delay and actually called eBay FROM the hospital. I was told that it wouldn't be counted against me then I saw it was and they refused to remove the late ship. Even asked me for hospital records when I tried to correct it. Huge no no. Now, I had some parcels stolen from the outgoing mailbox. Filed a police report and did everything I should. Cancelled the orders and provided the police report info. Then eBay hits me with multiple "defects". It seems pretty unfair. Is there anything sellers can do when treated unfairly?

Employers can require a Doctors note . It does not have to state the medical reason.

IT is likely that would work for Ebay too. They are NOT asking you for personal medical info. They just want to know what you have told them is the truth. Try not to make more of it than is really there. It doesn't help you in any way.
