Ok what on earth are the bone heads that run this place thinking. Had another shipping label outage yesterday, again. Hire better code writers seriously. Oh but the solution is to automatically enroll all sellers into international shipping via the ebay hub. There have been reports of slow and terrible service from the ebay hub, because it's run by ebay so shocker it's a mess right? People have had issues with negative feedback due to the delays. Oh but the solution for that is more packages! The email that I just got throwing me back into that clusterF.... is unbelievable. Hit the opt out as quickly as I could, highly recommend everyone else does too. Use your own international service if you chose to sell worldwide.
Not that any of the bone heads up top give a crap about us, but thanks for reminding me.

They were thinking they could stimulate more sales by making domestic-only items available to international buyers by convincing sellers it was easy and safe

It was a sleazy move to opt sellers into that program. It was an even sleazier move to not allow sellers to opt out beforehand.

Go to your seller hub under shipping and you are allowed to click the button that says unenroll. Your problem will be immediately resolved. Goo d luck.

I have no clue what problem you have but these are the safest sales on ebay, hands down.

I just found out that I have been enrolled as well. According to what I have read sellers are protected from negative feedback for delays. As a long time seller, never shipping internationally before, I have decided to give it a chance as my only risk is to get it to the hub safely. We will see. Time will tell. If it increases my sales without any adverse effects to me, I am all for it. Will give it a month and see what happens.

Ebay has instructed us to go to our Shipping Policies and remove our restrictions on countries in order to participate in the new international shipping program. If we do not do this, does it disqualify us from the program? Could we restrict some, and use the new program for the others? It seems pretty scary to me to remove all restricted countries.

The EIS program is overall an all, or none deal as far as which listings are included, but yes, you can choose your country exclusions country by country, listing by listing. eBay will honor your exclusions.

No, it won't be immediately resolved. It takes up to 24 hours and international orders can still slip through in the meantime.

To add
eBay takes the heat with any problems after the eBay hub processing. Damaged, lost, INAD, return for any reason. eBay refunds out of eBay's wallet, so "scary" country exclusions is not the same deal as shipping directly.

Thank you. That helps.

You may want to read up on the program a bit before you condemn it. Over 50% of eBay transactions are now international and with the seller protections they offer in the program, after a little bit of sitting back to see how things went, I opted back into the program. I just wish the domestic seller protections were this good.

are use eBay as global shipping continuously, and have for many years. It’s a beautiful service they keep track of everything you have lots of seller, protections, and international sales or a breeze. You just send the item to Ebay hub in the United States, and they take care of the rest why would you want to discount more sales?
