Anyone else having this issue? I have tried over and over to list an item both using one of my templates and by completely typing out a new description and every time I list it, the description get deleted.

What the hell is going on??????????

I even lower the price after getting one of those phony "There are eyes on your item" messages and when I revised it, it deleted the description.

Most likely there is a conflict between the listing tool and one of your browser add-ons. Try using a different browser with no add-ons installed to list or edit your listings until the precise add-on can be identified and either disabled or fixed.

So far users have identified problems with Ad Block, Duckduckgo and a grammar checking add-on.

I don’t have any add ons and don’t use duck duck go. I use firefox bing and chrome and application but still have a lot of problems with the web version of ebay. I guess Ebay spent a lot of money on that and so it is hard for them to give up on that reimagination.

I checked out your 3 most recent listings from yesterday, Oct 16, and I can see descriptions on all of them.

I noticed that with the last 2 shown, the description was too wide for the laptop screen, and did not wrap correctly. So I think there is something in your html template that is now playing nicely with the eBay style sheets. I can't advise you any further on what might be wrong there.

That is because I used FireFox to make the listing. When I was making them, I accidentally used Edge and after listings those three items, I looked back and every description was gone. So, I had to redo the descriptions. Another thing these new tools do, using Edge, is if I use one of my templates I have been using forever (before being forced to change), it puts a HUGE space between paragraphs. If you try to delete it, it combines the paragraphs! This is in addition to the other issue you pointed out with the descriptions no longer wrapping correctly (even under FireFox). This all started with these new Tools!!!

Thank you for your post. We have had the same problem no for several weeks. We have contacted eBay several times and they have informed us that they are trying correct the issue from the Seller Up Date. We suggested that they post on the Announcement Board that the problem does exists and what they are trying to do to correct the problem. Very frustrating for sellers and buyers alike. If you want more information, contact eBay directly for an explanation and the status of the repair of the listing tool.

Yes, I have sent several "Feedbacks" regarding all the issues, and called several times. Maybe they should credit the Store fee back to the seller until they get it fixed, or allow us to go back to the "old tools" that actually worked! But NO!!! That might cost them some $$$ and that is all that counts with eBay these days!!

I'm surprised anyone would use MS Edge.... I personally prefer Chrome.

Well, I installed Chrome and got exactly the same results as I did using Edge (they use the same back end you know). So far, only FireFox works for me.
