I don't know who okayed the new interface for this nightmarish tool but it's absolutely horrendous, bloated and occupies too much screen real estate just as this forum does now (3 posts per screen? what? are you using an 8 foot monitor?) It's probably one of the most frustrating updates they've ever forced upon us. Besides my workflow now being drastically hindered I've noticed that I must enter 3 shipping options no matter what. There is no way to remove one, or is there? Any help would be appreciated.

Just tried it and it does want more than 1, but I have about 30 shipping variations labeled in my shipping preferences, so I wondered if that was the issue. Tried saving it as a draft and will see if it will let me edit there or once I post it live. Will play around with it a little.........have not switched over to that listing format yet. It is clunky and cumbersome and those are its' finer points!

Thanks. Yes, I agree on the clunky. It has been forced upon me now and there's no longer any option to opt out. Sadly I may have brought it upon myself as I switched to it the other day to try out the new video feature. It said "you can opt out at any time". Well, the opt-out option disappeared the next day so now I'm stuck with it. I eventually figured out the shipping options, they're strangely hidden somewhere else (surprise!) Including screenshots for the next person who gets stuck.

Thank you for that - I have also been trying to see where I could edit that - so it is under "more options". Oy vey.

It's now been a week or so and it's still extremely painful.
The page keeps crashing forcing me to go all the way back into the listing tool only to get the message "Sorry, the listing tool isn't available right now" half of the time. The amount of time it takes now to enter item specifics and navigate through sub menus is completely ridiculous. Used to be able to tab through all the specifics, now you have to click, scroll and type for each item specific. The shipping methods take forever to rearrange each time. It's taking me 30 minutes to list something which should take 10. I've been on here for quite a while and this is the worst interface decision they've made yet. I can't get anything done which means they're losing money (from me, anyway). I expected to see some kind of outrage about this but it looks like they've been rolling people over to it gradually. Whoever designed it has clearly never truly sold on eBay.

Yep pretty much everyone HATES the new mobile phone app design. It's just not workable on a desktop which hopefully eBay is finally realizing is where most of the listings are created! Sellers are now trying to list with both hands tied behind our backs! But we need them to click 4x per field we need to enter info in. I'm going we will see a change of at least the classic option reinstated soon! This is wise than even managed payments rollout because we can get it product even listed anymore.... It's just too time consuming to be worth it

Well, the opt-out option disappeared the next day so now I'm stuck with it.
Try the 3 dots just above "Edit All Options"

May work for a while for some, but returning to "classic" via the 3 dots has been removed for many of us.

Yes, this is the case on my end as well. There is no option and when I asked an eBay rep they told me that a lot of the features no longer have the opt out option as they're mandatory.
I've been clicking the "feedback" button each time after I list something and then type in a quick complaint.
Maybe if everyone does this they'll get annoyed and switch it back.
It's taking a super long time to list something, it's realllllly slow. The old form had its occasional glitches but it was super fast and intuitive.

Yep - I agree - we went from super simple and intuitive to slower and everything is hidden in sub menus- completely not intuitive
Please just keep sending the feedback each time so they have fresh accounts to add to the complaint list. It just makes no sense to add 3 popup boxes and 4 clicks to add a simple field. Just put it all on the main flow like the classic- you just cant beat simplicity

Couldn't agree more .. its like ebay want sellers to actively look to other selling platforms.. Why do the inflict such clunky hard to use incomplete changes upon us .. Do they have any idea how infuriating these ill conceived changes are for those of us who actually have to navigate them are !
If I wanted to volunteer to be a beta tester , I'd say so..
In the mean time Ebay, for gods sake, stop forcing such changes on us , give us the option to choose the new layout OR to return to the old one, until such time as it is something actually worth changing too !
Not just a case of preferring the old, because I'm used to using it (although that counts for a lot / why shouldn't it?) but it just is not an improvement.. unless you count looking pretty, top of your list ???

EXACTLY - VERY WELL EXPLAINED .... I wonder if anyone at ebay will read this and understand ...
We can only hope so.
They say "we listened to you.." in the news letters , lets see.......

My ebay listing just switched to the new template and is a disaster. My shipping options are endless, literally very confusing to know what to use. They have every shipping option I have ever used listed. At the beginning of my chat with ebay rep they thanked me for 24yrs of being a member. At the end of our chat I told them 24yrs might be enough. I am really considering calling it the end.
