ebay is changing your handling time when you send an invoice.
This has happened to me 3 times this week already but it was only when I had the latest one that I realised which ones were being affected.
I have 2 day handling and I checked the listings and that's what it still says - 2 days.
The first was bought on Sat the 13th, invoiced on the 13th and paid for on the 14th but according to ebay I was late shipping it on the 16th because it was due out on Monday the 15th.
The second one was bought and invoiced on the 16th, paid for on the 17th. The latest one was actually bought, invoiced and paid for all on the 17th (yesterday) but when I go to do labels this morning (18th) both are saying LATE SHIPPING - OVERDUE - SHIP NOW and claim they should have shipped on the 17th?
What the hell? On the last one that means it changed it to same day shipping.
They need to fix this NOW, and I better not get late shipping dings on these.
And of course because they're multiple items that's more than one late shipping ding per sale.
But they think I should "trust them" to get my payouts right?

Any chance you are relisting or using sell similar on older listings that don't have your current specified handling time? I have made that error a few times.

Extend your handling time out to 5 days. Just simply pack and ship as you normally do right now and this might solve your issue. I have mine set to 3 days and haven't run into any problems with late dings.

Same EXACT thing happened to us - We've spent more time on the phone with ebay due to glitches and problems in the last two weeks then we have in the last 10 years - Thank goodness we have spent the last 6 months creating some space between us and this company.

I am relieved to see this thread as I've been upset for most of the weekend about this same issue.
It looks like the OP hasn't yet respond to your request for item numbers as specific examples, but the following are those causing me trouble.

Because this one event lowered my projected seller's level from TRS to "above average," I would appreciate your investigating and setting the record right as soon as possible. I am pleased with some selling success lately and would prefer not to be curbed under a "guardrail" program of some sort.

Yes, as I stated in the OP, this is affecting sales where we send an invoice to combine shipping, and it wasn't showing on my dashboard so I wasn't too concerned, but now they are ALL showing up.
And every transaction has late shipping dings for multiple items.
This is going to drag me from TRS to Above standard because of ebay's LOUSY coding.
This is so not freaking fair.

I’ve just sent an invoice to an international buyer as requested. She bought 2 items from me and asked for an invoice since I do combine items and will discount the shipping. I’m going to be very upset if I find I am dinged for late shipping. It’s almost as if it has been programmed to show the shipping as of the day the items were purchased (added to the cart) instead of when they were paid for.
