ebay is changing your handling time when you send an invoice.
This has happened to me 3 times this week already but it was only when I had the latest one that I realised which ones were being affected.
I have 2 day handling and I checked the listings and that's what it still says - 2 days.
The first was bought on Sat the 13th, invoiced on the 13th and paid for on the 14th but according to ebay I was late shipping it on the 16th because it was due out on Monday the 15th.
The second one was bought and invoiced on the 16th, paid for on the 17th. The latest one was actually bought, invoiced and paid for all on the 17th (yesterday) but when I go to do labels this morning (18th) both are saying LATE SHIPPING - OVERDUE - SHIP NOW and claim they should have shipped on the 17th?
What the hell? On the last one that means it changed it to same day shipping.
They need to fix this NOW, and I better not get late shipping dings on these.
And of course because they're multiple items that's more than one late shipping ding per sale.
But they think I should "trust them" to get my payouts right?

its not fair at all but I can tell you that I have a long list of things that show late shipping,every single one has been removed.they are the ones with the gray circles that indiacte slow shipping.I only had 1 red circle which indicates late arrival
Ebay has stated that they are forgiving late shipping so I would not worry about it too much
my record shows all zeros whiuch is what you want, but when you go to look at the ship list its full of late ships
that to me is proof of removal

Well these shouldn't have even been ON there in the first place. They were NOT freaking LATE.
I don't want them showing up as being "removed". I want them GONE - TOTALLY.

A blue asked for item numbers so that they could help sort this out. Yet you have not provided them with any. Why is this?

Hey, no problem on that @bar-29368 .
Brian has something to chew on now. He posted to my thread yesterday, acknowledging the error was occurring, but under the impression at that point that it was only a "display error". I posted screen prints showing effect on performance metrics.
He is continuing to work on the issue, so final word yet to come.

I experienced the same on my selling account and it adversely affected my shipping uploaded on time number. There were 3 combined invoices I sent to 3 different customers . They paid after they got their combined invoices and the next day it showed up in red on my seller hub waiting to be shipped page as overdue to be shipped. 12 items counted against me on my dashboard, the next day or so - it took me from 100% to 90% and said my seller performance status is at risk. I have 3 day handling on all of my listings- none of those items were even close to being late on tracking uploaded or being shipped.
I did talk to a CS rep over the weekend and have received a message from Ebay saying they are eligible for appeal - there really should be nothing to appeal - the system messed up and should just remove the dings. But, I guess if it removes them that way, fine. The message said should be by Thursday or Friday.
I just hope they get it fixed, since I often have people win auctions or make offers and want to wait to pay so items can be shipped together. Would really be a pain to have to call CS all the time on it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one to have experienced this. On my selling account, I had this happen to me several times this week and could not understand it. All of my listings have a 3 day handling time - and yet, I've been dinged for next day shipping. The items in this screenshot show that the buyer paid on the 21st and I was expected to ship it on the 22nd. Nowhere do I offer 1 day shipping.

Glad to have been pointed to this thread because I was confused as hell when this happened to me yesterday. All items in my store are set for 5-day handling (and have been for years). Yesterday had several customers request an invoice for combined shipping, and I didn't think twice about it as I do that all the time. Woke up this morning to a bunch of red "overdue shipping" notifications on all of yesterday's sales, which Ebay apparently expected me to ship the same day. Same day shipping?! WTH Ebay? Since it sounds like Ebay customer service hasn't been much help, I'm going to have to decline to send invoices to anyone until they get this fixed.

brian@ebay Other's have listed item numbers for this BUG. It's very annoying to have the buyer pay the invoiced items and then I'm already late shipping them per eBay. This can and will affect seller ratings for late shipment and it's wasting our valuable time to have to deal with CS for eBay's error.

This has happened to me for every single combined invoice that I have sent in the past week.
All the listing have 3 day handling, and the moment the buyer pays it tells me shipping is overdue.

You shouldn't have to hunt down a desktop. On my tablet I can use the app or I can use a web browser- the web browser shows me the classic desktop view and I can request a total from the cart.
