How is everyone adjusting to the new fees eBay is charging. Have you raised your prices and if so how is that working for you is it positive or negative. Has anyone changed the way they price to accommodate for the higher charges?? Can you afford to have a sale or give them more money for ad promotion fees. Just wondering what sellers are trying to adjust so you don't break even with there charges. I had a couple people i know left and is selling elsewhere and haven't heard yet if they like it any better than eBay because others are charging high fees also.

You forgot to mention the additional fee's on shipping and ad fee if you want to promote your listing for more viewings and postage has gone up several times in the last 8 years I've sold on eBay.

There never was an addition fee on postage. Or ad fees if you want to promote your listings. You may or may not have been selling when I first started on eBay that might be why you don't get it.

Again, I would be curious to see a specific example of these "new fees" that you say eBay is charging.
On April 1 eBay fees increased by 0.2%, but that means the fee increase on a $100 total sale was just 20 cents.

You clearly do not understand that eBay users can have multiple accounts. I have 8 accounts - six for selling, one for buying and poting here, and one for submitting VERO notices.

EBay has been charging a FVF on postage for about 10 years now. Promoted Listings are a choice and you do not have to promote your listings, so that fee is controlled by the seller and not eBay. Rising postal costs have nothing to do with eBay or your original post.

To all knobs who really don't understand a new theft going on by eBay, calculate this, i sold an item, buyer sent 24.9 euros, and i received 16.8 pounds, which is 20.25 euros, which is just short of 20%. No promos, no nothing, just the basic listing, and they are even hiding that it's now 20% cut overall, and not 10, what most naive people still think. Thievebay
