Just got dumped in to the new shipping label layout page ... so, can we opt out of this or are we stuck with this change too ... its not all on one screen for display so it means more scrolling ...
Page designs with more scrolling seems to be a repeating theme ... is this something they're teaching in IT Design school perhaps?

There should be a link in the upper-right corner for you to switch to the "classic" version. Unfortunately, it doesn't 'stick" and you have to click on it every dang time.

@nobody*s_perfect As always, Thank YOu for the reply ... the "not sticking" also seems like a recurring theme ... what are they teaching the designers these days?????

1) Perhaps, this is their ‘answer/fix’ to the ‘Why is there a custom form for Pueto Rico’ when printing shipping label to PR.
Or
2) An open invitation of summer internships to their technical programs was a success. The interns are given assignments to revamp the systems. All users (buyers/sellers) on said platform are subjects to these constant, never-ending, ?upgrades?, to the programs as we know it.
Me? I’ll just move along, side-stepped, or tripped over these ?upgrades?, as long as sales are coming through. 🧐

I realize my dislike for this new shipping page without even seeing it is completley irrational but sometimes you don`t have to open an envelope to already know what is inside it.

@callahanmagic Very nicely put ... what I've noticed is that most of the "improvements" mean more clicks or more scrolls to get the same work done as before. So the "intership" comment may hold some weight ...

LOL! I've had that same reaction reading about "imrpvoements" too before they happened here. The big one was Seller Hub ... at least with that I took notes from a number of threads so when the account was dumped in it I was up and running in about 10 - 15 minutes with custom tile layout, etc. However, it is at least twice as slow as the old My eBay page which I still can use but I dread the day when they shut that down ...

They did say that "casual and non professional" sellers would never be forced into using the Hub. Did they lie?
It appears that to use the new payments system you will need to use the Hub.
Did they lie? Hmmmm, that would depend on that the definition of "casual and non professional" Sellers is ...

What I don't understand is why they can not fix the glitches on this site but spend a large amount of their designers' time dreaming up new ways to inconvenience us.
I got the new label page this morning....why switch the "print shipping invoice" from the bottom right to the top left? How does this matter except to make us search more for the right button?
Also did not see the comparison button (where you can find out if it is cheaper to go a different way) on the layout but maybe I missed it??
What a pain...I have enough on my plate without learning new placements for buttons/options to work print labels and do not need this.
If I go to the store to buy something and all of a sudden the packaging is radically changed, how does that help find my brand? Stupid waste of time.

It says the present shipping label page will be available through the summer.
The claim is...... after input from sellers...... they have improved it , and made it easier to use. Not improvements to the new one. They... people that do not print forms..... think this is better.
They have removed the ......... "shipped from" option that is now available to enter when shipping from another Zip. Cost may differ if shipping from another zip. They are now opening sellers up to a charge from USPS from the Postage Verification program.
I have tried the new label. Along with, as you say, more scrolling to do what was a simple process I find that I will have to again learn how to set up my printer to get the labels right.
My one and only label from this process printed in the middle of the page, centered top to bottom on the sheet.
When I print I go to 82%, and print the shipping label, and online shipping record. That is currently set up to print on the upper 2/3 of the sheet. I then print a packing slip on the lower 1/3.
With the initial label centered using the "new improved label process", I have to use another sheet to print a packing slip.

Not only do I dislike just the "SUPRISE" here's a new way to do things FOR NO REASON it is also going to waste paper;
I print 4 labels PER SHEET OF PAPER on current layout.
By changing size to 75%, print one,
rotate paper print second,
flip paper print third,
rotate paper print fourth.
Just a technique to learn, not hard.
The new layout is printing on top half of page, landscape orientation (no choice), and I can flip paper and get a second one. Lots of paper wasted when trimming is done.
Here is my current look to printing, 2 labels on one side, 2 more on other side of paper;

@patternsaver Excellent post ... you might also note that they moved the Tell us what you think from the top right to the bottom left, harder to find or notice.
Below are 2 pics ... the first is the classic layout, everything needed can be seen on one screen. the next pic combines 3 screen shots and 2 scrolls to see the same info ... HOW IS THAT BETTER?
