ebay recently added a number of features to the store home page, such as "rows" to feature items or categories, and a "banner" as well. Eventually, we will supposedly also have the ability to include a short video in the About section of the homepage. I am currently using some of the rows and I'm using the banner. I would consider using the video when it is made available.
Just wondering how many here are using these features? And how many would be interested in using video when it becomes available?

I haven't started using them yet but plan to "look into" some of the features when i have some free time ..
they do sound interesting from what i read - do you like them ??

Yes, I've been using them, and I like that I can highlight things I want to highlight. I do wish ebay would provide granular tracking, so we could see whether buyers are coming from our store home page or not. I've had a couple of sales for items I had featured on the Home Page, but I have no way of knowing whether they sold because of the Home Page placement or for some other reason.
I also like that the features are easy to use, once you understand how to use them

I put the About section to use with return policy, etc- but I doubt any buyers have looked at it.

Yes, I started on the About page as well, but have more to add there. I don't think the About tab is very prominent, which reduces the probability that a buyer will click on it. I do think, over time, more buyers will eventually start looking at it...especially if we get the promised video capability for that page. (I suspect the "Learn More" link in the About section on the Home Page probably draws more buyers than the tab, but who knows? Again, tracking would be useful....)
