New Seller Pro Active Listings dashboard

No, I do not do Hub.  Can't stand hub.  Now they are reaching down and changing Selling Manager Pro.  Listen, you martinets, I need a simple update.  I know what my listings are, I wrote them.  I don't need pictures.  If I need a picture I can look at my inventory, I can open my lisiting.  I need a 2 line synopsis where I can control which columns are displayed and which ones are not.  I don't need all this.  I do need a listing software set that acually works.  Your word processor and photo retriever are no fun at all to use.

I don't even SEE a watchers header on my page columns.

TG the UNsolds are still the old page.

Re: New Seller Pro Active Listings dashboard

IIRC they said that any CASUAL sellers would NOT be forced to use the Hub, yet my newbie non store ID got dumped into this as well.

I am NOT a happy camper since this happened.

Okay, here I go...haven't looked at ebay all day* except to print a few mailing labels via bookmark of old seller page.  On pins and needles to see what they've done to me and mine.

Re: New Seller Pro Active Listings dashboard

The new layout change is absolutely horrible.  It's a shame, eBay hires some Millenial dweeb for this stupid project.

If it aint broke, don't fix it.  I notice a horrible lag and all this nonsense shifting of the actual Webpage when leaving feedback to bulk customers.

Now, on my current Selling Page all the check mark boxes are different now and have some animation built into them that will cause Delay and Lag to the Website.   My Columns are all different.  Page views and Watchers are not in the proper order and no way to Customize the Columns..... This is poo-poo.

Right above "the grid" that shows your Active listings, there's the word "Customize" on the right-hand side.   Click on that and it will pop up another little screen where you can check the box for any type of info you want to see -- "Watchers" should be one of them.  Uncheck any items you don't want to have displayed.

Then, over to the right of the checkbox area, there's a vertical  list/menu that shows all the items that will be displayed on your Active page.  Note there are up and down arrows next to this list.  Put your cursor/click on let's say for example, "Watchers."   Then, click on the up and down arrow as many times as necessary to move this item up or down the list.  The higher it is on the list, the closer if will appear to the hard-coded (uneditable) items like the item's photo and/or title which are part of the active "grid."

When you've got the item arrangement the way you want it, click "Save" and it should re-order your Active item "grid" using the new items/order you indicated.  If you still don't like the arrangement or what items are being displayed, you can go back in and fiddle around with it as many times as you want/need.

Once you've done all that, when you get back to your Active "grid" you can also adjust the column widths.  Even when I finally got all the items I wanted displayed on my "grid" I couldn't see them all on my screen without having to scroll left and right.  You can "grab" the vertical column divider line on any of the columns and move them to the left or right  to make any given column narrower or wider-- kind of how you can do the same in Excel.

Hopefully, the above isn't too confusing, and you'll be able to follow me.  It took me probably an hour of putzing around to figure the above out.  I still hate what the screen looks like, but at least it's closer to what I had before.    Grrr.....

Hope this helps!

Re: New Seller Pro Active Listings dashboard

This change happened to me late yesterday, too and I long opted out of the Seller Hub, as well.  All my bookmarks and all the links for Current Listings scattered around eBay go to this new Seller Hub Listing page.

I'm not happy, either.  It's bland and full of grey color with no visual organization.  At least the Seller Manager version quickly led you to the information you needed.  As small as that seems, it's important.   This just plain sucks.  Constantly changing things that aren't broken, but never fixing the things that are broken.
