I got an updated "sales record" screen this morning and I saw they had removed 2 VERY IMPORTANT fields. There is no longer COST OF ITEM or an ACTUAL SHIPPING COST fields on the new sales record screen. I have to have these 2 fields or there is no way I can gather the info I need to do my tax return at year end. The monthly totals for "cost of item" and "actual shipping cost" dumps into "reporting" and under the expanded view I see my monthly totals that I can then transfer to my excel spreadsheet for my CPA. After a long time on the phone with support, he saw that I could revert back to the old sales record screen. Thank goodness, I am safe for now. But I cannot emphasize enough PLEASE do not take away those 2 fields or I won't be able to figure my profits for my tax returns. Those fields are crucial!
Thanks,

They removed buyer e-mail, too - there was a post about it a few days ago.
CS let you revert back to the old screen but that won't last forever. eBay usually gets rid of older pages at some point.

Bummer they don't think about how sellers are using the fields on the screens before they make changes. I know they are trying to improve things when they make changes. But I am not sure how else I will be able to get totals for my cost of goods sold on the new screen unless I export info and make all kinds of spreadsheets on my own. This field gathered the info I needed.

Same problem here. I called CS and they said there is no way to go back to the old version. Sales record lost a lot of functionality that we used and it hasn't been replaced elsewhere. When shipping an item through UPS, we would enter the actual shipping cost on the sales record page and the API could then export it for accounting. Now, we can no longer modify our actual shipping costs or even view them on the sales record page. We need to find a way to modify the actual shipping cost when eBay cannot retrieve it from UPS.

They STILL haven't figured out that sellers (for the most part) want their sales figures by calendar month. The one 'option' they don'y give.
Not sure why they thought "last 31 days" was the same thing, or even that helpful.
It’s absolutely useless. It’s like juggling cats.
No one I know uses a running “last 31 days” as a yardstick to compare and gauge growth. Fiscal year and month-to-month is the tried & true.
