Hi:

Just curious. Five months ago I received a negative feed back comment. My feedback went from 100% to 99.3%. Now it is is 99.1% even though I have not received another negative comment. Why is it going down?

The percentage is out of all of the feedbacks you received in the last 12 months. Which means in the month of August 2017 you had more feedbacks than you got in the month of August 2018.

Since you have less feedbacks now... the negative you got is weighed more. I.E. If you have a total of 10 feedbacks in the last 12 months and one of them is negative... your percentage is 90%. But if 5 of those feedbacks was in August 2017 and you didn't get any feedbacks n August 2018, your total feedbacks in 12 months is now 5. So your new percentage will be 80%.

It is based on the good feedback you receive.

If you are getting less, then your percentage goes down.

When you first got the FB you had more comments added in the 12 month lookback than you do now.

The positive Feedback percentage is calculated based on the total number of positive and negative Feedback ratings for transactions that ended in the last 12 months, excluding repeat Feedback from the same member for purchases done within the same calendar week (eBay time).

Note: This could mean that the number of ratings used for this calculation is different from the same number shown in the recent ratings table on the left. Positives / ( Positives + negatives ) This member's 12 month Feedback ratings Positives: 115Negatives: 1 This member's positive Feedback percentage 115 / ( 115 + 1 ) = 99.1%

It is based on your feedback for the last year so you may have had around 140 feedback for the last 365 days but now some of that feedback has dropped off so the one negative is 1 out of 131 transactions.

I am obviously typing really slow today!
