New Feedback Will Now Allow 500 Characters. Yes, you heard that right

Can someone at eBay please articulate exactly what problem this is solving????

Out of curiosity has anyone EVER seen a request for more feedback space.....i.e. 500 character?    This one is unfathomable to me.........

I guess it's for buyers who have had a bad experience (or just does not like the seller or just does not like that they did not get the item for FREE)...and wants to write a book about it...

...betcha the seller's FB reply will still only be 80 characters...

It would be useful if sellers could leave negatives,  otherwise, 80 symbols can perfectly fit a  summary.

Some of the buyers as well as the sellers on here are going to be writing novels, especially when big fat red doughnuts are awarded. Let rants begin.

"We realize that’s often not enough space to include important details, so we’re increasing our feedback fields to allow a maximum of 500 characters. This will apply when you leave feedback for buyers, receive feedback from buyers, and reply to buyer feedback."

Were you around when seller's could leave negative FB for buyer's?  There was a time where they could.  Eaby took that away from us...too bad...

I tell ya...it was downright entertaining - the back & forth between some buyers & sellers had me scream laughing!  Who needs to see a flick?

NOBODY needs 500 characters in a feedback.

Bring back sanity.

Yep, as a seller we can only leave 80 characters still. Buyers can go ahead and rant on our accounts if they so desire. At least we can rant back with the “reply to feedback” feature.
