New Ebay Store, no discount on Final Value Fees

So I just opened a Ebay Store and I'm supposed to get a discount in selling automotive products.   It's supposed to be 8% instead of 10%. When I look at my final value fees, it's still saying I owe 10%. Do I have to relist the item I'm selling since I opened a new store? If so that would hurt my sales rankings since I've been selling this product for month! Another product I just starting selling (after I opened the store) has the discount applied. Anyone know what's going on?

Yes, when your GTC listing(s) roll over, they will start to get the Store rate FVFs.

Sounds like you answered your own question by noting that the item listed before you opened the store is one rate and the one listed after is another rate.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

The discount is not retroactive. It won't apply to things sold BEFORE you opened the store, only to things sold AFTER you opened the store. It doesn't matter when the item was listed, from what I recall.

Ok, is there any way to retain the listing and still keep the discount? The listing has a ton of sales already and relisting it would lose all that.  Only thing I could think of, since its set to good till cancelled, when it autorelists then maybe then the discounts would apply?

I believe the fees in place when you list an item apply when it sells.  If you have a GTC listing, then the new store fees will apply after it rolls.

This is in the fee section of policies:

Fee amounts are based on the terms in effect when the listing goes live and when it renews.

Can you tell me where to locate this line in the policies? Thanks.

The FVF is based on when the item was listed.  If it was listed before the store was opened it has the FVF for when it was listed.  If it was listed after the store was active it would have the new store FVF.

Good Luck Selling!

I can find this in the terms.
the quote above "Fee amounts are based on the terms in effect when the listing goes live and when it renews." is in the "Insertion fees" section and not in the FVF section
