New E Bay payment policy

I received payment from buyer on May 15th, E Bay did not deposit money in my checking account until May 19th.  New policy is not better than PayPal, regardless of the **bleep** EBAY is trying to shove down your throat.  Additionally if you complain more than once about anything EBAY does, you will get a warning letter from a low level watch dog.  Good news is that this is the fastest way to get a non scripted response.

On the page where eBay explains Managed payments, eBay clearly states that it takes 3-5 days for a buyer's payment to reach your bank account:

So in this case, it sounds like eBay did exactly what they said they would.

eBay clearly stated  that it will take 4 to 5 business days before funds are cleared into you checking account - part of that delay can be your bank - mine has a 1-2 business day before my pending  deposit & withdrawals - used to be recognized in real time.  They never stated it would be faster  or as fast as PayPal.

You may need to make some adjustments to make certain you  can cover potential outstanding obligations such as buyer returns.
