why cant I leave feedback for a buyer that left me (the seller) neutral feedback?

I can't say... that's never happened to me. You can reply to the feedback left... Replying to feedback you received for an item you sold | eBay. Oh, wait... I see that you have already. And it was rough...

Because you already left feedback for him. It said, "Great buyer and outstanding transaction. Thank you very much".  Now you understand why some of us don't leave feedback for our buyers until after the buyer has left theirs.

The reason why you can't leave feedback for that buyer is because you already left it!  

Your feedback left for the buyer: "Great buyer and outstanding transaction. Thank you very much"
