Hi - I have a question regarding sending offers to potential buyers. My problem is:

1) I can send an offer to the first watcher of an item just fine

2) I cannot send offers to any subsequent watchers of the same item(s)

Why is this?

Is there a setting I need to change somewhere?

I feel that I am losing potential sales because of this.

Will someone please help me, please.

Members can opt out of receiving offers, so maybe this is the issue. You can have multiple watchers on an item, but not have any that want unsolicited offers.

You actually send offers to all eligible watchers at once, not to only one. That said, if others watch the item later and have their settings set to allow offers from sellers, the option should reappear. Are you getting an error, or just not seeing the option appear again later? Can you give a little more detail about what you're seeing?

Thanks so much for your reply. I am not getting an error indication. I am simply not seeing the option to send offers to new watchers after watcher #1. In my selling link, I am seeing more watchers appearing in the number count. It used to be that any new watchers along the line could receive an offer from me, which isn't the case at present. Are you saying that the same offer I sent to watcher #1 will/has been sent to any subsequent watchers? I thought if someone watched an item that offers from seller could be sent individually to each watcher. Not all watchers chime in at the same exact time.

I hope I am not being too confusing - I just want to be able to send offers to any additional watchers after the first one.

Thank you in advance for any additional input. If I cannot send additional offers, how am I supposed to make a potential sale?

Hi - thanks for your reply. Question - why would anyone watch an item and opt out of receiving offers if they are hoping for a lower priced offer from seller? I see your point, however. Doesn't make much sense to me.

Because not everyone watching an item has any intention of ever buying that item, and they don't want an offer. Not everyone who watches your stuff is a buyer.

I send an offer to all my eligible watchers at once. If, later on another eligible watcher appears, I am able to send an offer again to the new watcher. There is a newish option on the send offer screen that was pre-checked for me to send offers automatically to all new watchers. I unchecked that, but you might have it checked and the new watchers are getting the offers without you doing anything.
