Hello, I think I made a mistake. A few days ago, I sold a box of jewelry, and the buyer told me it was all junk, with only one item worth $15 and the rest broken. I responded asking how we could resolve this, and then I blocked him. I waited for a response, but I didn't receive one. What happened was that when I blocked him, I also blocked him from sending messages. I didn't know that blocking someone blocks everything, even messages. It wasn't like that in the old system. Now he's left me negative feedback, saying he sent a message to return the items, and I never responded. I called eBay customer service, and they said they didn't see the message because I blocked him, and that they'll send the report now. What can I do in this situation?

Thank God they finally removed the negative feedback. I contacted customer service and they agreed with me. What the buyer said was in the description. Thank you so much to everyone on the forum for the advice. And I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving!

Great news!
I had a negative FB removed once years ago for exactly that same reason -- the buyer had complained about something that was clear in the description. I'm glad to see they're still protecting us sellers that way.
Happy Thanksgiving to you, as well!

This is what they told me on eBay
