eBay, we need a NOT search operator in the Listings and Orders pages.
If you want to look at all of your Listings or Orders that do NOT have a certain word in the Item Title, for example, how do you do that?
Let's say half of your listings are Phones and the other half are things other than Phones. And you want to go in and edit, view, or analyze all of the non-Phone items at one time.
So two things: eBay take this as a needed feature.
and if anyone knows how to accomplish what I described, please share the steps. Thanks
I am using the new version of Orders and Listings pages in Seller Hub.

Presuming you have store categories, and phones are one.........you can look at each of the other categories.......

Samsung s7 smartphone -gray
Samsung (s7,s6) -(16gb,silver)

Yep, just use the minus sign next to the word you want to exclude. In the example above, the word "gray" will be excluded.

The OP is not discussing the actual search page ... it is the "Orders" and "Listings" pages under Seller Hub / Selling Manager.
I agree ... the filters could use some tweaking ...
For example the Search for "Custom Label" (SKU) does not work 😞
My inventory sheet might be missing information (darned cats like to type sometimes), so I'll go look at the listing by the Inventory Number on the sheet.
Use the dropdown for "Custom Label", equals, 15-01034 and hit "Search"
Gives me back ALL of my active listings *Sigh* ... so I have to sort by Sku and find it that way 😞
Boo 😞
A lot of the search functionality of Selling Manager is missing from Seller Hub, unfortunately 😞

That's Useless. Thanks for nothing

Nope. Did you try it? Try things before you suggest them.

Not on the "Orders" page in Seller Hub, which is what the OP wants to search.

Thanks for the tip.
No Store. To see whether a Community member has a Store, click the member's avatar or username and see if the word Store appears next to the Listings link in the pop up.

Perhaps instead of throwing out an attitude to those who are trying to help, you should pose your question in a more succinct manner so those who are reading it know what the heck you're talking about.
Because when I go into my listings (If you want to look at all of your Listings) and type in a search parameter with a -sign, it gives me, what did you call it, the NOT operator. It's called a Boolean search. Look it up and learn much how things work around here.
You're question was answered exactly in the context it was asked.

I just tried it in my orders page and it worked. I'm in the hub.

And I just tried it again, and the search engine ignores the '-', and does an "inclusive" search, i.e. for the search string "X -(Y)', instead of returning results for "X not Y", it returns results for "X and Y".

dont use the search at the top of the page, set the FILTER to Item Name and then try it. The - is ignored as others have stated.

I don't sell on ebay, so I didn't try it. I have, however, used the "-" in many of my searches where it does work.
