We are trying to make sales and nothing is happening in our TWO stores for 20 days. Is there a glitch going on or bug. Is anyone having this issue and what can be done if anything. We only have a couple weeks to sell things and then must close our store. If anyone has a idea let us know its like our stores are shut off and closed. Please share any fixes thank you so much.

Bonanza? Pulleze - Hades would freeze over before I could sell anything there. After 8 years there I totally gave up on them. Chinese have invaded them as well. Don't bother

I am a seller from Canada. Have been reading the US posts here & can really sympathize with you. Whatever has happened in the US with drop in sales, has been felt in Canada too. Dreading having the GTC forced on us soon. I have been buying & selling on eBay for about 17 years. Have never seen such a drought in sales as in the last 2 months. There have always been some dips in sales but they always picked up. May have to consider downgrading or cancelling my store. I came to eBay to make a profit not to just end up paying for the fees only.

Hey, I am on a roll! Just got another bid on an item! I am on the way to being spoiled!

Same here-very few sales this month, worse than April. It's bizarre to say the least-seems like something very weird is going on? I am giving GTC a go just for the sake of trying something to get things rolling, but i will really be watching the ending dates

Thanks for the advice the trade shows might be interesting to try. We had real stores before to sell in that was easy people in and out. however we moved in different states and decided to give the online a try rather than the real stores. The online was a lot of work to learn what was expected and we did our best to follow all the rules but probably to a fault. Personally I out alone out of the group thought sales would increase as we learned and became established online but the opposite has been true. Since sales are mainly up and down we held out for the ups but they have vanished into thin air with no explanation just theory. Good luck in your endeavors and thanks again.

Thank you, yes people have wrote about the best match being one of the issues on the site. I just know that if I select one of items in a search outside of the site it wont pull up our items like it used to. When you go on the ebay site yes there we are at the bottom of the heap last page we are invisible to most. Would be nice to sell some items in the next two weeks. Maybe they will remove the invisible cloak and allow us to be seen LOL

Its like someone turned the switch off on some of the sellers I have NEVER had this happen in the over 12 years we have sold on all stores. Wish they would investigate and find out the why and tech issues get them fixed. It was the best site WE told SO many people to sell here and now its like a grave yard. Something has happened wish we knew how to fix it. We are not greedy people but need to sell something for our time and make it worth while. The only good news is we downgraded from the 75.00 store so the fees are not as much when you don't sell anything. Take care hope you find your way.

I hope they figure it out soon for all the sellers and the buyers who are looking for items so they can find them.
Thanks for your responding.

My best friend lives in Indiana and finds many shows to go to around there. Keep your eye out. Search the net for Indiana or antique or flea markets. You would be surprised what you'll find.

I'm hot! I'm killing 'em. Why, just yesterday my first sale in three weeks was a German cookbook. I sold it for $3.95--with free shipping. I stand to realize a profit of about 29 cents.
When you're hot, you're hot...

Sorry to hear you are like so many other eBay sellers who are suffering from LACK OF SALES! All I can say is branch out try other venues if you are capable try having a yard sale or try selling at a flea market. Plus there is always CL & FB if your into that.

I have local vendor space in a flea market style venue, it's crazy busy every weekend. Maybe people miss the thrill of the hunt and actual interaction with real people. Shipping expenses may be another factor.
I don't necessarily get high prices but all sales are final and the freedom from photographing, describing, shipping, worrying about SNAD's and temperamental buyers is worth it. (And the inventory is NOT in my house!)
It's interesting that buyers are definitely the 40 to 80 year old crowd. This was eBay's buyer stronghold forever - until they decided to pursue the younger market with electronics and focus on new items, revamping the site appearance, algorithms, etc.
If you're really serious about having a closing sale for the next two weeks, you should probably cut prices drastically. At least Ebay will email past viewers with your price changes. Might help.
