NEW Listing page layout! Thumbs UP!

Just saw the NEW Listing page layout show up on my account ... ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I zoomed out to get more of it on one screen just as an overall shot of it.  Very large main item pic, details to purchase & Seller info over on the right.

@mr_lincoln out of curiosity, what browser are you using and do you have an ad blocker?

I'm seeing the new design like you picture here but in FireFox with no ad blocker there are still ads above the item specifics description even though the announcement said it would "bring critical information like Item specifics and seller description higher up on the page before any modules that show other items & ads."

I agree that the new design looks better and seems to focus more on helping the buyer complete the purchase instead of confusing the buyer and getting them off the page.

No adds in the first ex. Is amazing and that is the way it should be!

2nd example is same old design mistakes! Cluttering up the shopping experience with unwarranted adds that distract from the sale and discourage conversion..... Hope it's just a lag in the update because if they force pl adds still... There was absolutely no point in bothering to change the layout.

I am one of the participating members in the view item redesign tests. 

The screen you show looks like the most recent test we participated in.  The test has now ended and it looks like the team may now be rolling it out, possibly in stages.  There were a few "issues" that we, that are participating in the test, brought to the attention of the team with the left-hand image rail and dead links, however, it looks like those issues were resolved.  

I like it, too!

@dhbookds   It's an Auction so those options do not apply ... no BIN on these Auctions.

@valueaddedresource   I am using Windows 8.1 for this thread, Firefox browser for the screen shot on this thread, no ad blocker software.  I also use Microsoft Edge, same new page there too. Yes, all the other sponsored items are above and below this new format, which is an improvement over having them right in the middle of the listing between the picture section and Item specifics.  There is no getting around other sponsored listings being shown, eBay gets paid for that advertising space by Sellers. 

In the not too distant future I will be on Windows 11 on a new PC ...

I may be wrong, maybe some others can check to see if they are seeing what I'm seeing?

The example Mr Lincoln showed in his screen shot is for a SOLD listing. I do not have the new view item page, but when I look at Sold items, I see the sponsored listing modules ABOVE the listing and BELOW the listing, with none breaking up the listing itself. I think that pattern has been carried over with the new version

Valueaddedresource's screen shot is NOT a sold listing, it is an ACTIVE listing, and currently active listings do have the PL modules breaking up the listing , and it looks like, at this point at least, that that is continuing with the new version (based on Valueadded's screen shot).

I think the difference between the two screen shots is simply: one is a sold listing, one is an active listing.
