My listing was removed. No, not when I listed it but a half hour before ending. It had bids! Ebay said it's against policy. There are at least three others just like mine for sale right now. Ebay didn't remove them. Why can ebay remove mine but leave others for sale. Not fair!
The first time around, it was sold but buyer didn't pay so ebay canceled order. This time ebay removes it just before ending. They could have flagged and removed it the first time but did not. This time they just removed it after it had bids. If it's against policy then all sellers are under same policy, right?

What kind of listing? Selling what?

@katzrul15 willing to bet it was a postcard

What was the item? What policy did eBay say was violated?

Saw his listings....am guessing it was what was ON the postcard that caused the issue?

Without you telling the other members "what" the item was, it's difficult to answer, however, there might be 20 speeders on the highway; if I get pulled over I can't say: everyone else was doing it- it's still breaking the law.
Just because some sellers are getting away with something doesn't make it ok.
Their time will come for removal, eventually..
Best to learn what is & is not allowed. It will save you a lot of stress.

eBay is getting strict with items that are racially offensive. Don't relist it or you could be suspended. It could have been reported; feel free to report the others.

Ok. I accept that. Why was it ok the first time around? Why did ebay let me relist it if it was against policy? They could have removed it then. It was removed after it received 11 bids and a half hour left to go. I've been selling on ebay for 20 years on and off. It is ever changing it's policies. I guess I missed it. I'm venting.

I feel ya.. I know it seems unfair and is frustrating.. Perhaps it didn't get removed until it was reported and those reports often take days to be acted upon. Perhaps numerous reports were received.. It's impossible to say.
Now that it's been removed, I would not relist it or other items like it. You can put your selling account at risk.

In the current social environment we are living in this occurs more and more frequently and it is only going to get worse. About everything offends someone regarding something. What was history and art a few years ago is now offensive and trash. Just the times we live in. I have several items that I have posted on other forums, which are fine with them, but will not post on eBay due to the potential of having them flagged or removed. The eBay policies are so ambiguous that it is hard to tell what will get flagged or removed but it is simply not worth the hassle.

I won't relist it. I don't have others like it. Thanks for your time and input. I feel better now but not in a hurry to list or relist anything. I have much to sell. I'm waiting on the mail service to get back to normal. Then I will list larger items.

I've had that happen in the past with an older toy. Ebay said it had been recalled, but the one I had listed was not the model that had been recalled, but another toy made by the same company and with a similar title.
It does get very frustrating because there were about 15 others listed at that time, just like mine, which weren't removed!
I waited a few weeks, changed the wording in the title and relisted. If you do that use BIN. It's not good to let a "removed" item sit around waiting for bids. My item sold the 2nd time listed, so there was a happy ending after all.
