I noticed am error in an item I sold. I listed it as used, but in the title I wrote new. I wrote to the buyer and asked him to confirm that I am apologizing and the item is actually used and I made a mistake. This has happened once before and the buyer either says okay or cancel. This time the buyer isn't responding too two messages. What can I do next? Shipping is going to be about $50 so I really don't want him to say I don't want it after it arrives.

@holsteinatlanta If you can't get a reply by message on ebay or by phone, I would message them letting them know that you're going to cancel because you don't want to send an item they might not want because the condition says used, but the title said "New'. Let them know you will hold it for a week (or however long you're willing) and they can repurchase if they'd like. You can send a coupon, or let them know if they make an offer for X $$$$, you will accept to make up for the error.

You will need to await a response - this is a week preceeding a holiday. So many out of town.
If no answer, you will need to cancel. But your reason, is your error. This one is on you as the Seller, not Buyer address, etc

If you put NEW in the title line...you better cancel this transaction...customer will be very upset when they find out item is used. Don't assume customers actually read the description or your emails.

If you go to sellers hub/order details on that sale, you should see the buyer's phone number. That might be a quicker way to reach them.

Not sure what the item is, but you could offer a discount if the item is used not new. You still have to wait for an answer from the buyer though.
