Hi, I hope someone can help me figure this out.

I'm not a new seller. I opened a 2nd account (which as far as I know is perfectly permitted on ebay). I listed 15 items one after the other. A little later I checked my selling tool and was taken aback that each and every item had 0 views. It made no sense, so I put into the search bar the exact name of one of the item. It did not come up in search results. I tried another, and another, and another -- in short, not a single of the 15 things I listed today appear in search results, even when I search the title *exactly* as it's written in the listing.

Am I missing something? I listed everything correctly. I made sure to make a small purchase of supplies I need, so I'd get a feedback of 1, thinking that maybe 0 feedback takes me out of the searches. But that can't be it.

I even went ahead and promoted all 15 of the listings, figuring that promoted listings get more traction.

Still nothing. 0 views, and they still dont show up in search results.

What's going on? What can I do to fix this???

Yes it is perfectly ok to have more than one account you are selling from. I just am not sure what you have going on with your listings. Maybe you should put in a call to ebay to find out from customer service what is going on with your listings.

I was thinking that if you actually pull up a listing that is yours, your view count will go up. Anyway, if I were in your shoes, I would be calling eBay myself.

Thank you. I did click on a few of my listings so now half of them have a view of 1. but they do not appear in the search results...

for example one of my listings is " Offspring footie sleeper babygro playsuit & hat, newborn baby girl"

Put in the words "Offspring footie" or "offspring playsuit" in your search bar -- my listing does not appear. at all.

i wonder why.

I guess I will call tomorrow. thanks!

@fromotop- is this the new account? It was just created today. Listings can take up to 24 hours to index and for new accounts I would say that's especially true. Each time you make revisions, add promotions, etc that means the listing has to re-index. If it didn't finish indexing the first time making edits can delay the process.

If you don't see the listings appear in 24 hours then call eBay to find out if there's an issue or post here with item numbers so others can check if your items are visible.

Not sure but I think if you look at your own listing, it will show as “ view”.

If you listed them today it can take up to 24 hours before they are visible. Even on new accounts from established sellers, it's not instant. The 1 view you see may be an index bot. Give it until tomorrow, it even says it may not appear for up to 24 hours before you submit the listing.

Just a quick follow up. I searched just now for your items and found them without issue. I did not think about the delay so glad another poster pointed that out.
