Someone retracted an offer of $10K. And now the price isn't moving. $108.50 when?

I just went in manually without using your link, and item definitely stalled. I don't think a bid retraction would cause that ?

Why would anyone pay that much for an empty candy bar wrapper???

...very interesting listing...first time ever in my life to see this...

Along the lines of empty soda and beer cans - they are missed in production - sealed properly and all set to go until a checker notices there are no contents, missed that part of the production line completely.
Happens quite rarely and apparently it is quite a collectors dream (or so I am told)
Personally if I am going to drop $100 I am wanting the chocolate ! and lots of it

Omg really?? I could’ve sworn a few times in my life I’ve ran into a few sealed empty candy wrappers. And I would just feel sad and throw the wrapper away. Dammit!
Knowing this, I wonder if I can pay a factory worker to just “create” empty sealed wrappers for me and I’ll just sell them off.

I can't swear to the candy wrapper at that price, not seen those being sold for more than $15 before, but a seller at home tried to list a beer can (production empty) and it was restricted as eBay bots assumed 'alcohol' - he finally got it approved and sold for $120

This may come close to an insider trading thing LOL

How does an empty candy bar wrapper actually get into circulation?
Do they not have QC staff at the Twix factory?

I think you are wasting your time with that listing,
bidding is now over 7k, but no one is their right mind is going to pay it.
No one in their right mind is going to pay anything at all for that item.
It's just an empty wrapper, factory workers can create them all day long..

Are you kidding ? WTH is going on, this is the second weird a$$ bid I have seen today.
I would say the acct might be hacked, but what scammer lists a candy wrapper ? and wth bids like this ?
It's gotta be a windup

$7,000 for an empty candy bar wrapper, what the hell??
It's not like it's a Cheeto in the shape of Harambe...

Obviously not "frozen". Not sure why you would think it was. Were the sport bidders not giving it enough attention?
What happens when eBay sends you an invoice for a $1,000 FVF?
04-19-2021 04:28 AM
Bidding history seems suspect. Very larger jumps to get to $7k plus.

😂 Ya mean you don't remember the bidding on the open-faced melted cheese sandwich?

I think the sport bidders got tired of playing with that listing and moved on. Best of luck getting paid.
