My First Promoted Item Sold.

So I un-promoted everything and promoted a few items on January 14th to understand how the new promoted thing works.

I did sell one item promoted at 20% yesterday...rather high I know but I am looking to obtain repeat buyers.

So the 'Final Value Fee' pre order amount is not charged on something promoted...it was .40 cents?

And it used to be the promoted charge was immediately withdraw from 'available funds' and that is no longer done?

My photo is from my iPhone which makes it easy for me to read.

If this is an eBay mistake...let's not tell them😆

@simply-the-best-for-you The screen you are looking for is the "Transaction Details" page. On the order page, the line for transaction fees usually includes FVF, per order fee and maybe international fees if the order is shipped internationally. To see the break down of those fees, you can do 1 of 2 options. 

If you are on the page with all your orders, Find the order you want and click on the button with 3 dots on the left. In the drop down, click on "View Payment Details". This page has a few item lines, including your shipping payment for that item, it will have the breakdown for your orders regular fees, and may have a line for promoted fees if you promote your items. To see the breakdown for each of these, all the way to the right is a button to "View". 

If you are already on the order page for the item, click the button at the bottom that says "View More Details". It will bring you to those same pages above.

@12345jamesstamps I am still very curious as to what your actual breakdown for this one transaction is. Would you be able to show both transaction fee pages, the one for promoted fees and the one for your regular fees? Go to the page with all your orders, find this one and click the button on the left with the 3 dots and in that drop down click "View Payment Details". This page will have a few line items including shipping payment, Promo fees and order fees. There is a button to the right of each line that says "View" and will have a better breakdown for all the fees that were charged on those pages.

eBay made the correction today...deducting the promoted fee.

Usually the promoted fee was deducted from available funds immediately.

Guess they caught it.😢

PL fees that are the result of the "halo effect" don't always get billed at the same time as standard PL fees.

Thank You @krazzykats  I used your link, I never look there & I can confirm that BOTH the one with & the one without PL, both show the .40 fee.   Here's a pic of the one with PL.   But of course this view doesn't show the PL fee, like my view did LOL. 

So in the view I use, it must just be added to the total bucket.  But as I said, they absolutely BOTH have the fee.

Yeah, same here. I noticed it’s charged on a different screen than the promoted fee screen.

It would be nice to have all fees shown on a single screen, but I guess if the promoted listing fees are billed later, that’s not possible.

At the moment, the promoted fee shows up as separate line item separately from the per-order fee deduction line item when you expand the order details.
