So say someone wants to buy something from my Ebay store....the one ebay charges too much for every month. They want to find my store items using the Advanced search. Well, when you type in my store name in the advanced search do you know what comes up????
Nada! Not a thing. Ebay charges me for everything they can possibly think of and yet my store cant be found buy any user using ebays Advanced search.
Why is that???

That's odd! The "Find Stores" search didn't produce any results when I entered the OP's store name. Wonder why you and I got different results?
I'm using a Windows 10 OS, Chrome browser, desktop platform, with Adblock Plus.
I see what you're saying , I've never used the find store, I always search by seller.
Until now, I've never noticed the find store link.

I tried the Find Store and searched for my store and it worked, don't know why the OPs isn't showing up.

So, I want to make sure I understand, @kensgiftshop.
You DID NOT find the OP's store through the "Find Store" search.
You DID find your own store through the "Find Store" search.
Are one or both of those statements correct?

You found the OP's store? Or you found your own store? Or you found @kensgiftshop's store?

Possibly if you changed your id name, it now does not show? Or, only a certain level shows? Mine doesn't and I've had store since 2013 or so, but did change name 3x, last time about 2 years ago.
I checked 2 'large' sellers and all theirs show, I checked 2 small sellers and they did NOT show.
Either way, I bet 90%+ of the people don't even see/use that 'advanced search' and probably 90% of those don't search by 'store name' as who is going to remember a sellers 'store' name in the first place? Either you have one of their items in your 'watch' list, or in your 'purchase' history so it's easy to refind.
I always go to 'purchase history' as I've been buying bubble wrap and shipping labels from the same people since 2011, and I STILL DON'T REMEMBER or have the need to, their Name (store or seller name)

If I know the members ID, I hardly ever use the advance search.
I just go to my feedback page and replace my ID with theirs in the link.

I agree with both of you. However IMHO, if it is available, it should work for all sellers with stores.

I never use the search to find sellers because shortcuts are faster.
