Last night, I noticed that my CD offers--all of which use media mail--had bright red lettering
under the price, next to "Longtime Member," saying "Delivers in 3 Days."
Obviously, this is impossible with media mail. It misleads potential customers and I had nothing to do
with putting this message in my listings.
Has this happened to anyone else? I spoke to someone at
eBay, who didn't understand what I was saying and simply told my to empty my cache.
If you complained about an infestation of snakes in your apartment, they'd recommend emptying
your cache--it's the only thing they see in the pages they're working from.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

I checked a few of your listings and was shown an ETA of Feb 12th to my zip code here in AZ. You are probably seeing the shorter ETA because you are looking at your own listing from your own zip code.

Thank you for the reply.
I understand what you're saying, but my problem is: a three-day delivery is unreliable even within
my own zip code. Media mail can be quite sluggish even at close quarters.
And who stuck that "delivers in 3 days" on my listings in the first place? It came, then went, then came back.
There must be some sort of glitch here, no?

I agree with @gwzcomps, what you are experiencing is not a glitch. This is working the way eBay intends. I understand your frustration, I have experienced the same.
The little designations like long time member, delivery in X days, 100% buyer satisfaction, X watchers, etc that appear on listings are chosen by eBay and do seem to change occasionally.
