I've got a weird problem. I created 3 different but identical multilevel listings sometime in 2019. Ebay has requested that I change the "Edition" attribute in only one of the listings, saying that it is not allowed in this type of listing. (Edition doesn't show up in the other listings). I've tried to update other issues regarding this listing, but because I can't change the "Edition" attribute, it won't allow for any of my other updates. I never added the word "Edition" any place in the listing to begin with. But now this particular one has changed, but I can't change the attribute without redoing everyone of the attributes for each image. Is there not any kind of resolution for this problem or work around, otherwise I may as well end the entire listing which has 59 items. I've only had about 3 sales from the listing, but I think if I improve the listing the sales would go up. Otherwise, this would mean pulling the 59 items from my inventory and redoing each and everyone of them -- all of which would be exhausting. I've worked and worked on this listing and I'm beginning to think there is no end to it. Help please!

I wasn't selling in 2019 but it really sounds like you have to redo the thing all over again. I had that happen to me once last year with a multi count & variation item and they wouldn't let me use certain words which I assume "edition" falls into because it is available as a drop down in another section of the listing probably where it wasn't prior.

eBay won’t let you edit the name of the attribute, but you could remove the attribute altogether and replace it with a new attribute with a similar word that eBay allows. It sounds like eBay has decided to not allow you to use “edition” as a word for an attribute because they likely decided to use it for a necessary item specific for the particular category. I’ve seen it happen before for other words too.
Yes, it is a real PITA when they do that to you because you are not allowed to revise the listing anymore in any way until that attribute name issue is fixed. There’s no way around this.

I think you already know the answer given your nice sales record. Just pull it and redo the listings.
