I can not find a drop down that states fixed pricing. Is buy it now the same thing?

Yes. There are two basic formats for listing: auction and fixed price. The term "Buy it now" appears on the purchase button for fixed price listings, and also on an auction-format listing if the seller has added a "Buy it now" option.
